We come to KZbin to get recommendations BUT it’s counterproductive when “influencers” are paid pawns smh. Btw D&G the Only One is never mentioned BUT smells better than anything out! The Only One is the type of fragrance that’ll get a man to propose!

Amanda, you absolutely Do know what you are talking about! You introduced me to Cartier, and I’ve been enjoying Baser Vole all this COVID -19 lockdown, as well as Le Panthere. Looks like Baser Vole Lys Rose will be my next exploration. I thought I would pass along for those who enjoy Versace Yellow Diamond, (my favorite warm weather discovery last year), that the lotion version smells just like the perfume and does boost/elongate the perfume. I really love your suggestions, Amanda. I might also purchase a Lalique - your description of the L’Amour sounded so appealing. Great post!

Dear Amanda, I just wanted to say hi and let you know how much I love your reviews. I bought Amethyst by Lalique (on clearance, thank you very much) after I saw your recommendation. The scent of it immediately brought me back to my childhood, for some weird reason. I just love the scent and the bottle is exquisite. I don't have anything quite like it in my collection - the closest thing I can compare it to is Midnight Fantasy, but Amethyst is a lot less sweet. Sisley Izia is absolutely beautiful! I got a sample based on a Fragrantica article I read and loved it right away. Agree it is a little pricey though. The Lalique Le Perfum sounds divine. Thanks for the great video!

Love your picks...I´ve been hunting down the Lalique Soleil but it´s sold out and there are still available online on some web sites here in Scandinavia but I guess it´s trending topic right now cause the price is way too high to what I saw it since it came out (should of have grabbed it then grrrrrr LOL)...so I will wait for some kind of sale... More than underrated I am kind of in an "Old School Phase" I mean....I am back to the 80´s jajaja....I love the 80´s- 90´s classics that are a bit abandoned but are real Jewelry in perfumery....we have all learned that the more "notes" combined the more expensive the cost of those frags were actually....so I have really come to appreciate them now more than ever.....I buy them in the 30ml to have them as a collection really! But to name some more newer underrated: - Ted Lapidus Orissima - Salvatore Ferragamo Emozione - Roberto Cavalli Gemma di Paradiso - Oscar de la Renta Midnight Amber To name a few but Oscar de la Renta & Cavalli are in general very underrated houses and they have some gorgeous hidden gems! Amanda Loves Perfume it’s very musky when you first spray it but dries down to a beautiful powdery scent. So beautiful! It has gardenia and jasmine in the fragrance. It is very inexpensive on fragrance net. It’s just called Anne Klein.

Love your videos. I started my Lalique collection from watching one of your older videos (thank you!)....I love Amethyst, just bought the eclat and will have to get the third one soon. Anyway, what I really wanted to say is that I just blind bought Escada Especially on fragrance.net without hearing any reviews or videos about it, I got it yesterday and I LOVE IT.....I then looked it up on fragrantica and am so surprised at the horrible reviews, "Escada Especially" is beautiful on my skin, I get rose and pear mostly, love the dry down.

Two of my favorites are Lalique scents: Perles de Lalique (sexy chypre) and Encre Noir (men's but the best, wearable vetiver ever). And you can find both very inexpensively, as both seem profoundly underrated!!!!

I love Creed Aventus for Her and Royal Princess Oud. AFH gets so much hate, but I personally love it and get compliments and people saying they will buy it (not after they see the price), but it's so pretty. It is strong and an attention getter so it's not an everyday fragrance, but I've been wearing it a lot around the house just for me and it's so good I will never get tired of it.

I just ordered Lalique le parfum after smelling Encre Noir Sport from my boyfriend. It just was amazing! Really addictive what a wonderful fragance I could wear it myself! I guess is unisex! I add l’amour to my wishlist! Thanks!

I picked up Lalique L’amour from your haul video and it’s absolutely beautiful. I’m still not sure about Amethyst though. I agree about the Prada Fleur d’oranger. I bought it in a set of Prada minis months ago and love it. I want to try the almond. I recently picked up Cabotine Rose and love it which made me get into other Cabotine de Gres fragrances. I know it’s old but I just got into this recently and the fragrances are gems and very inexpensive. I also think a lot of fragrances from Givenchy are underrated.

One of my favorite cheapie "workhorse" fragrances is Sung by Alfred Sung. I still see it in Marshalls and TJ Maxx, but I've watched a LOT of KZbin videos and I never hear anyone discuss it. I find it very similar to Sweet William (which I see you own!) and was wondering what you think? Would love to see you review it and hear what you think! Hello I just received the Lalique this week and it is gorgeous!!! The sexy 9 by Trish Mcevoy is a very underrated fragrance. I picked it up at Nordstrom Rack a few years ago for 10 dolllars!!! It sells for over 100 at Saks! I just rediscovered Anne Klein II which I wore years ago and its beautiful on my skin.!! Really enjoy your channel. Just subscribed

You are the one who started the trend of lalique!!! U were right and the fragrance is now getting attention!! Mine is still in the cart as i am a fresh and clean perfume lover with less tendency towards sweet fruity perfumes and dont know it they are my thing yet, couldnt try it yet anywhere personally!! I think coach perfumes for women also are underrated I mean they don’t smell extravagant but sure are a gem in my opinion. I grew up with Escada and now Im earning and have extras to start my perfume collection I will try the laliques perfumes that’s for sure. Thank you.

I agree with you, Lalique deserves more airtime. I have completed my collection of Lalique and love them all. I haven't gotten Azalee and Rêve D'Infiniti because I don't really enjoy peach in fragrances. I think you need to have a more advanced "nose" to appreciate most Lalique because I find most of them to be unusual and most main stream folks might not appreciate them. I love niche and unusual perfumes so I'm all in.

Amanda Loves Perfume I bought it because it was suggested as a dupe or similar to my beloved Elle by YSL which has been discontinued. It is not a dupe. It lacks the pink berries, it’s not as smooth. I do like Perles buy I’d not recommend a blind buy unless you like a strong, dry patchouli.

I 💛 Versace Yellow Diamond; it’s a bright beautiful scent. Lancôme Hypnose is a really lovely and unique vanilla perfume. A few other perfumes in my collection that are beautiful and underrated include: Lancôme Midnight Rose, Sofía by Sofía Vergara, Lanvin Eclat de Fleurs, and L’Eau d’Issey by Issey Miake. I recently purchased Lalique Amethyst, and I was a little disappointed because when I first spray it there’s a slight pee smell. Thankfully the urine scent fades pretty fast and then it turns into a very light floral perfume (I don’t smell the fruit notes). My kids say they think it smells good (like flowers) and they’re pretty honest. 💐

I agree with you regarding lalique. I am familiar with them for a long time, mom used to like Lalique ( original one) . I love L'amour and Amethyst is very interesting, their men fragrances are pretty amazing as well. The price on some of them i am sure barely will cover the bottles with are mostly gorgeous; Underrated fragrances : Moschino, Cheap and Chic line is pretty fun, I love love is very very good and smells like Light blue ( i had 3 x100ml bottles) the bottles are superfine as well and colorful; Gres: Cabotine, amazing fragrance, fresh, feminine and persistent, reminds me of Tender Poison in the way it demands attention but has an innocent seduction. Very persistent even in small quantities. Elizabeth Arden: many of her fragrances are interesting, but 5th ave does not get the talk it deserves, it is beautiful, feminine, sophisticated and really have not lost its charm at all, every time i wear it is a compliment grabbing fragrance, it is super cheap, 4.2 oz can be found for 10$, beautiful bottle. Hermes: Eau de Merveille, EDT ( it is really special fragrance, i feel has something from MFK Rouge 540 ( or other way around, given the time of creation) also Hermes 24 Faubourg, really beautiful elegant and timeless. Also Hiris, from same house. Twilly is addictive, the original one; Kenzo: Perfume d'ete, light, airy, floral, carefree ( spring/summer) persisting and really good trail, beautiful dry down. There are many keno perfumes that are beautiful, but not talked about; Cacharel: Eden, very intoxicating but feminine and sexy fragrance, very hard to find; Guerlain: Champs Elysees ( this one is one of my fav in summer and spring, EDT version, very strong and persistent even in EDT form, it is all about moms and almond) , L'Heure Bleu, timess, powdery, mysterious fragrance that was born 108 y ago. Chanel: Jersey and 1932, Crystalle, gorgeous all of them. Burberry: much less talked about then they deserve, including the original one, the Weekend and so on; ; i love many of them, love My burberry, such a surprise to find out a lot are designed by Francis Kurkdjian, no surprise. Ferragamo F, great fragrance; Balmain; vent vert, Ivoire and Miss Balmain and Monsieur Balmain, classics but impossible to find; Patou: Joy, 1000, Sublime and more, all timeless and and reach in ingredients and history; Rituals: very popular in Europe, not so much here; Trussardi Boucheron: all their fragrances are high quality, some are playful and interesting, some more serious, but all remarkable; and the list goes on...and on and on

l was so close to buying Lalique Le Parfum recently but changed my mind because some reviewers said it smells slightly masculine and it's not a safe blind buy. I kind of regret it now after watching your video... Would you say that it leans towards masculine? I don't really like unisex fragrances.

Hi there! I have questions about your perfume fridge. I am currently trying to figure out how to store mine. I was thinking about a dresser. But also thinking about a fridge. I’m not sure they should be very cold...but I know I could turn the temp all the way down. My question is, how many bottles do you think yours would hold? And where did you get it? Thanks!!

Linae I ordered mine from Amazon I can fit about 60-70 bottles? I have it turned almost all the way down I researched a lot and most things said they are fine in a fridge

Thank you so much for the info! I’ve recently moved and all my perfumes are in bins and boxes in my room and I end up going through them like every single day and make a mess and it’s just completely NOT convenient! I’ll be doing some research on a good size little fridge :)

I can add my thoughts....Amethyst is fresher and not as syrupy sweet as Midnight Rose. I can't recall where I came across the description that it is similar to Stella, but I agree, it is like a blackcurrant version of Stella.
