Hello from one C.S. grad to another. Very glad to hear the meds are helping. When I was a kid (I'm 62 now), a friend of the family had shingles. He was one of the toughest guys I've ever known, but shingles put him right down. I recently received the 2-shot vaccine for shingles from the VA. Hope you continue to improve quickly.

Hope it gets better quick brother. I had shingles a couple years ago and it was not fun. It was so hot and miserable here in the Hawaiian summer. Quick recovery🤙🏽

I have had that and it is no fun . I got to a doctor within 48 hours and the medication worked but toke time to go away . Good luck on shaking it .

@@bamagtrdude yes that’s what I’m being told by my doctor and the pharmacy. Without the vaccine you can get shingles more than once. Have to wait a couple of months after the shingles have cleared to get the vaccine. It’s in two stages get the first dose then a few months later the second dose. I’m getting it I don’t want to deal with shingles again.

I had it REAL bad two years ago. Couldn't get into the doctor for two weeks. Yours sounds about the same as mine. I still have nerve pain across my left shoulder blade over 2 years latter, it comes and goes.

OH JEFF man - i'm very sorry to hear that!! :( TBH i was gonna "gut it out" - again, thought i had poison oak/ivy - but my GF pushed me HARD to get to the doc ... hope yours goes more than it comes, bud

Thought it was a mosquito bite a day before as the yard is infested. Felt that tingle and sure enough I saw three blisters had my son take a pic . I immediately sent my doc a picture left a visit request she said yep come right on in and sure enough it’s a shingles outbreak . Thankful I caught it early and started on the antiviral immediately. I have such a tiny spot but sooo sickly . Weak , muscle aches and fatigued . I’m doing the L lysine , vit d 5000 iu , vit c , hydration, 1000 mgs valacyclovir 3 x a day . Putting raw manuka honey on the spot and covering with. Bandage . Will get it out in the air tomorrow

I noticed the rash on Sunday and coincidentally had a doctor appointment on Monday. I showed him the rash but he thought it an allergic reaction to the pain patch I had on the sore spot. The next day the pain got worse and the rash developed blisters and spreading. I called the doctor back and they said just keep trying the useless cream they gave me. My doctor didn't work at that office on Wednesdays or Thursdays and I was in so much pain I went to the emergency room on Friday. It was the emergency room that diagnosed the shingles on the sixth day after the rash had spread all over half my body. if my doctor didn't misdiagnose the rash I could have got the vaccine within 24 hours instead of waiting 6 days. Man was I mad. I at the 7th week of shingles and I am still in chronic pain.😢

Well, feeling how the blisters on my torso began to shrink within 3 days was very soothing, I applied what I talked about the other day and in two weeks the pain was gone. I just go’ogled Kaena Ramingler’s Shingles Solution and now I feel as smooth and relaxed as I've ever been.

@@bamagtrdude I had a couple of quarter sized ones on my thigh a couple of years ago. I jprayed asking what to do about them, I bathed them with purpose and didnt scratch them and they were gone in 2 weeks. My prayer was answered same as usual. "Better later." He must think I need more patience which I'm sure I do. Lol. Whatever He wants is a-ok with me.😊😊
