Kevin is the encyclopaedia of reptiles. I’m always blown away by his handling techniques and his first aid knowledge and his knowledge of the history and background of every animal he owns. I have ridden and taught and trained horses professionally and I’m not into reptiles myself, just addicted to watching them on KZbin, but he has the same interest in his animals that I do in horses and I try and understand the history, the whys and to completely understand how things work in order to build on those skills and knowledge to provide better care, handling and training and that’s what I get every time from Kevin. It makes me mad that Jay gets millions of views ahead of all of these other criminally underrated channels listed here!

The VS tube channel should literally not exist. The youtube guidelines clearly state that animal abuse and disturbing content is not allowed. “Dog fighting, cockfighting, or other videos in which human onlookers are forcing animals to attack each other. We do allow content featuring animals fighting in the wild, such as in a nature documentary.” Each video is an strike, and after receiving three strikes, the channel gets banned. Kenan is honestly the dude who made me get into reptiles. When he saw his house he was like "Sure there is a house... BUT LOOK AT THIS LAKE AND HOW MANY TURTLES I COULD FIT IN HERE". Also I think the reason Chandler handles animals the way he does is he literally grew up with dangerous reptiles. He also treats animals he doesn't know as well differently. How he first handled his black mamba is much different than how he handles his cobras which he knows their movements well.

Brian has honestly come a long way, in a good way. He really inspired me to get into reptiles. Like you said, 10 years ago people did things differently. Those were what made me uncomfortable, but I was able to kind of brush it off by telling myself that he knows way better what he is doing than I.
