Unpopular opinion, the new quest with Lisa is kinda just ehh?? I feel like she's becoming more and more like a katara from avatar and I don't want that since she's neat and all, I mean yeah she was kind of downgraded to be more relatable and hip but I honestly wanted to have her stay in the rock punk genre espically with katja having a guitar I was spectualating that katja would be in some sort of a band and the thought of katja and Lisa having a rock off (is that the right word??) Be really awesome!!! Also another unpopular opinion, there should be a level cap in sso it can be kind of unfair to be doing a championship and being level 20 when someone's level 22 or something, only because they joined the game before you and alot of people don't like doing dailies soooo

I totally agree on the fifth one. I love the ranch and the whole western feel to it, but I don't like how it mostly centres around Lisa and Starshine. No offence to people who like Lisa, I like her as well since I can relate to having anxiety and panic attacks, but she seems SO overrated.. It honestly feels like everything revolves around her in some way or another. Sso constantly tells us that her mother died tragically, which is heart breaking and some players could relate to that, but I feel like it takes up too much of her character.

Fjord Horses: I love the new model but I see your point. They could be a bit more 'Fjord looking'. Club: Agreed, I'm in a 'filler' (I created a club that only I'm in just so that I don't get invites) club and that's enough for me. I've never been in any real club (although I was on the waiting list for Winter Knights Army-anyone remember them?) Jorvik Wild Horses: I really like them but the fact that they're limited bothers me a bit, just because I always want to buy them and I feel obliged to buy star coins to get them, and star coins are expensive where I live so I need to do gardening work, walk dogs, etc. to earn the money. James: YES. I don't know why everyone hates on the new James. He's definitely improved, he looks like the same person just older, and it's a really good model. Why can't SSO add male players? Obviously, they have the models... Starshine Ranch: To be honest, it doesn't feel as 'Western' as I had hoped, since I had expected a typical 'Wild West' look, but I really like it. However, I definitely think they are overhyping the whole "Lisa's ranch" thing. I probably would have changed the name as well, since Starshine Ranch doesn't sound very 'Western' to me, but maybe that's a personal preference. I don't mind the new Lisa, but I only started SSO in 2013 (as opposed to playing the franchise since 2006 or whatever) and I have never played the other games. Customer Support: Seriously, compared to most games their customer support is amazing. I've only ever had good experiences with them, and I constantly send in tickets for bugs or occasionally for an idea. They're helpful, positive, and quick to reply. Most game companies have very obviously automated responses, and while a lot of SSO's responses may well be automated, they put in the effort to address me by name, or to wish me a good day. Minor things that make it more personal than, "Dear Ticket #4509, we have received your complaint and sent it to our tech team for review" or "We cannot help you. Remember, stay wild and enjoy your time in Jamaa!" (Yes, I had a terrible time with the Animal Jam support team when I used to play), and instead the SSO team uses, "Dear _____, Thank you for your feedback! We're glad that you like the new horses but we have received many complaints about this. We have sent this to our tech team. Have a great day! Sincerely, ___." They also respond within three days, as opposed to months of waiting for other, SMALLER, companies. They're also easy to communicate with. Does anyone remember the Super Shire? Yeah, well, I was an idiot and I fell for it. I bought 100sc so that I could buy it and when I realized that it didn't work, I asked, offhand, if I could have a refund. They said yes without any hesitation, and we even shared a laugh at my expense. As well as all of this, does anyone remember how they used to have a 48-hour-reply policy? Very few companies can boast that, and even if nowadays they don't have that, the fact that they once did proves AGAIN how dedicated the Star Stable Team is. And just a side note, remember that they're a really small team, of about 100 people (I think). If you have such a problem with the wait for your response, maybe you should go work for them! Apparently, they even fly you to Sweden 🤔😉. wow that went on

They can’t add male characters without ruining the storyline. The story is about a group of girls. There’s also plenty of games out there where they only have male characters, SSO is one of the only games where it’s only girl characters. And they do accommodate male players by having male/gender-neutral name options and short hair styles. Idk, I don’t see the issue with having only female characters since a) there’s like 100+ games out there with male only characters b) it’s an essential part of the storyline

I agree on ALL of these, especially the first one. The new fjord was like the point where sso went from realistic to caroony. I remember thinking the new fjord looked like paper, so flat and undetailed. I promised myself to never buy it, and I never have. The old fjords is much better!

my truly unpopular opinion: I love the old gaits. They're nostalgic and fit the art style of the old horses. I love how it looks on the gen 1 fjords and friesians. The new versions of those horses look strange to me

-Unpopular opinion- For me, the protagonist doesn't seems that important. Maybe it's just me, but when I started playing Star Stable I was expecting something around the protagonist, because the trailer on the Star Stable channel made me anxious about a story that I am important to. But in the beginning I just... was there. Of course, when Elizabeth said the protagonist was special because of the elements that only the protagonist had, she made it clear that I was part of the story. But over time, and with more I played, the protagonist didn't even speak! Fortunately, nowadays this is changing and improving more, but I really thought the game would demonstrate that. Unless this is showing in a VERY slow way. I didn't join the game to make friends and meet people, I joined the game because the story interested me, 4 guardians and friends who fight against evil, and there is a 5 that helps everyone to get together and fight together, and this 5 person is it you, really draws your attention, no?

More realistic? Hell no. I have seen a Fjord in real life, he might be mixed I don't know, but he looks exactly like one and the new model is FAR more realistic to how he looks. The only reason you like it more is nostalgia. The old model has unnaturally big hooves, some weird gaits, it has weird edges and the skin texture is not better. It maybe even has TOO much shading. Horses don't have a deep gash in their neck and hind leg! Look at horses in real life and tell me, do horses have that much shading on them in natural lighting? No.

I so agree on the club thing. I just want to be left alone. With updates I don't have much to say because I started playing after James was updated. I didn't even now that Lisa originally was suposed to be from a big city. And I think that the customer suport is good, at least when I contacted them. And I think it is so good and kinda uniq that you can report buggs and so. Btw I always gets so exited when you upload a new video, they are always so good!

The opinion about clubs is so right. People make such a big deal out of it, like „you will get kicked out if you don’t attend meetings” or „you must buy the club outfit and horse”. Unpopular opinion: I don’t care about the soul riders’ pasts. I feel like there is too much about them and not enough about the main character, who is the fifth wheel to the soul riders. I’d rather hear why main character is special, what exactly brought her to jorvik, what is her role and who she is in general. I know they aren’t telling us about the MC’s past on purpose, but I feel like I’m a spectator of the soul riders’ adventures, and not an active participant. I quickly clicked through the last quest with Lisa, because it felt boring to me.

This is unrelated, I just wanted to tell. Storytime: So, about 3 months ago, I bought a month of star rider for myself. Everything was going well until I finished some quests in the wrong order (Idk how is that even possible) and I couldn't continue anything. (Main story, and side quests) The NPC I had to talk to was in a wrong place, where I couldn't reach him and other quests didn't let me start them. So, I contacted Star Stable and they said the problem was already being fixed. So I waited. I went back a wek later but the bug was still there. Sadly my star rider expired so I never knew if they fixed it or not.

I love Starshine Ranch, but I think they made it (and re-wrote Lisa) to draw an American audience. I think they could have achieved an equally broad appeal simply by developing a distictly Jorvegian culture with steeped traditions and deeper lore. We need a druid land that we have never seen more than we need a themed ranch. I really hope the new team are planning some big releases. 💖💖💖

They responded a week later, and asked me to send them a video fo the problem, so we did, they told us to re download it etc etc... And it worked! I think there is not much of a problem it's hard job to deal with, because you know how SSO players can be...

To me, opinions are opinions, and it’s good to have them! Response to all opinions: The new fjords are better (to me) Hm.... some riding clubs are overrated, but not all. If it had one or two members then that club isn’t overrated. Yes, I do too. There are some that could be improved, but overall their great horses. I like new James as well, he looks better, by a ton. Now this, this is interesting. I do personally like starshine ranch, but not all people, but most peopIe do, I think. Lastly, I dislike the customer support strongly. I sent them a message about Farah a while ago, and they haven’t gotten back to me, this is just my experience, though. Great video, keep up the good work ^^

Thank you for this video! And yes, I agree the old fjords looked better, they just owned this charm! The new fjord horses head seemed so small in the beginning when they came out! XD And the colouring of the new yellow fjord seemed too bright in contrast to the previous ones. The new horses are cute, but the aura of the first fjords just seemed so royal. One "unpopular" (or maybe forgotten opinion) of mine is the camera angle! I still want the old one back! Big hugs to you Eleanor, you are awesome! :3

Fjord models: I agree. The new model just looks kinda weird. Idk how to describe it, but the models just don't really look like a Fjord horse. Riding clubs: I AGREE OMG. I was in a few clubs and I always left or they kicked me out because I wasn't active enough. I guess that the clubs are just for fun. A lot of people like being in a club and doing stuff like dressage or some other activities, but I never really enjoyed any of them. Jorvik Wild Horses: I agree, again lmao. They are just so pretty and a lot of people are jealous of me when they see that I have one. Maybe one thing that I don't really like is that they can change their coats only outside of cities and stuff. I know that they are supposed to be "at their strongest" in nature and that's why they transform only there, but I would like if there would be some button on changing coats. But I get that it probably wouldn't make much sense if they would be transforming just randomly. New James: I LOVE THE NEW JAMES. I mean, he is supposed to be 15 and his old model looked like a 7-year-old, so it totally makes sense that he looks older. The new model looks great and I don't really get why are people so pissed about it. The old model looked just straight up UGLY. Starshine ranch: I agree. Also, I never even really go there, because there is just NOTHING to do there and I know that there are some quests and stuff, but they are kinda boring. I love how the ranch looks like and at least the map is not so empty, but those are probably the only things that I like about it. Customer support: I don't really have any experience with that so I can't really judge it, but I absolutely adore that the team is even responding to comments on their social media. I don't think that a lot of companies do this, so it's amazing.

Most of the SSO community are not gamers. Most players started playing the game just because they like horses, not because they like video games. This means that they haven’t compared the thing they have a problem with to other games, because they don’t play other games. Sure, the customer support could be better, but it’s much better than any other game I’ve played. I’ve never seen any game company respond to every single reply on a social media post. I can clearly see that it’s a game with a lot of heart put into it, and they are trying their best to make it better. I’ve never seen a game with weekly updates, most MMOs take months to release even a single update. And all of those updates coming from a small company that don’t have nearly as much money as the bigger companies out there, no wonder some of them are disappointing, a week isn’t a long time to make an update. They even put “lots of love from the team” at the end of every update post. They love the players and the community and are really trying their best. So stop yelling at them and hating for every little thing. Criticism is good, but you can’t just assume that they don’t care about the players.

honestly, I think you are perfectly justified not liking the new Lisa/Starshine Ranch. I never played the original games and didn't play much before the updated models so I really like the new Lisa and all the soul riders! they're all really pretty in my opinion. But hearing about how different some of the new models are from the old ones I can understand why people would be mad about the changes.

I like the new Lisa though, she feels more realistic to me and unlike you I never really knew the old version of Lisa so im fine with your opinion on that. But I wish they wouldn't make Lisa the main character. She gets the voice, the ranch, the books(well the one I've read idk :,) ) and I wish they all got more of an equal role. I think having a western ranch is fine even if I don't care for it and even if her dad owned it whatever. It's just that it's all about Lisa is boring to me. Even though I like her.

the customer support team is amazing. i’m an og player and i’ve definitely sent them some questionable mails when i was a kid lmao. but they always replied professionally and reassuringly. a few months back i had issues with a payment (money was taken, no star coins appeared) and they responded within few hours on a friday! so if they ever take longer time to respond, just know that they prioritize issues with payments and bugs over for example ideas and player reports. also i never had them respond late. they’d always take 3 days max. also i don’t really like the new james because he just doesn’t have as much personality as he used to, character design wise. his og character design was iconic, while i find this current one forgettable. same with lisa. while she has a much more interesting design than james, when someone says lisa i think of her iconic red spiky hair and punk clothes. i just feel like the new style isn’t as “flexible” as the old one was, which will cost a lot of characters their remarkable designs. don’t get me wrong, i absolutely love the style, but it’s such a big change and it probably won’t work on quite a few characters.

I definitely agree with a lot of these, especially Starshine ranch. I'm not so salty about Lisa, because my head canon is that they did live in the city, and she did play rock music, but then after she was kidnapped during her tour, everything changed. It made her and her dad realize just how precious things were and she wanted to change in music style to try to cope with the whole thing. I still definitely miss her spikey hair though, and wish they kept it- buuut at the same time, it makes sense she not have it after switching music genres. Unpopular opinion- I really like the marwari's, but despise that weird nostril flutter thing (so much so that I won't buy one)

I've never seen the old Lisa and I love the new one so much. She is probably my favorite soul rider, every time I interact with her I feel like I'm meeting my bestie. I was so happy when I got that scratch of dialogue recently on a trail ride and her room?? It's so pretty! I adore dancing with her to those western beats. Also, I feel like the new fjords are soo much better, I mean the legs in the old ones were just not it. I actually don't think there is a single horse that I would prefer the first or the second generation over the third.

I totally agree with good customer support! I was doing the quest where you first go to the dark core oil rig, and i logged off during it by accident. I logged back on and I was stuck at the moorland beach. I cried for so long thinking i could never play again. They were really nice and fixed it in about 2 weeks and i could play again, i was SOOOO HAPPY 😂

i haven’t seen anyone attack eleanor, but i want to say this anyways. if you have an opinion that will not harm, discourage or put others down, don’t be afraid to let out how you feel. this may sound dumb, but even if it’s a strange opinion, people might be able to relate, or to recognize how you see things or how you feel. posting this would be hard for eleanor, it’s hard for anyone! the word “unpopular” means people disagree with it. the amount of hate i’ve seen some people get is outstandingly horrible and i’m so disgusted that people say things like that. i have mad respect for people who post these kinds of videos and let their opinions flow out, but also the people who are kind and don’t blabber on about shit that doesn’t even matter! don’t say something if it will only be hurtful to others. leave them alone and move on, it really *_is_* that simple!

Unpopular Opinion: I like the Curly Horses. Why you may ask? Well, they look super cute, and I really like their gaits. They have a wide variety of coats, and I have the most loved and hated. (Cream and Brown) One of my FIRST trained horses was a curly horse. Unpopular Opinion: I don’t like Ydris. Like seriously, the hype about him is overwhelming. They made him look young, and I always had pictured him as just a fortune teller. People seem to really like him, for the looks? The only reason I like him is because he’s a fortune teller. Unpopular Opinion: I don’t like the zony’s. Ah yes.. The Zony. I don’t really like their magical thing across their face. I sold mine and I don’t even regret a single thing about it. Dude i *totally* agree with the last one to be honest- Like I think my "worst experience" was a few weeks ago where I asked about a quest where I thought it was a bug, but it turned out i just needed to wait a bit, and they just said "some quests are hard, it's an adventure game after all! If you need more help, contact us again!" And besides that, they have always been great! *My unpopular opinion* We should get more horses! I don't play much anymore, but I tend to film SSO Movies and i really love it when I get a new horse to fill a new role rather than a soul rider getting into a pickle or something. I just expand how much games I play, and I have plenty of stroy driven games!

One time, this random starter invited me into a HUGE club and she said the club horse, tack, and outfit was only the starter stuff. I didn't think much of it until i asked her if she wanted to see the horse i was gonna buy. She screamed at me, saying i wasn't aloud to but it because the club horse is the starter horse. I yelled back, saying "my life, my account, my starcoins, my choice." and then i left the club and put her on my ignore list. 1. I totally agree, i think the generation 3 looks like its not done yet and it kinda looked like it is still a draw 2. Also agree. If you are in a club they always want you to be there like 3/4 times a week, like I’m not 3/4 times a week online for a club meeting. 3. I like the jorvik wilds but not that much, its just not my type of horse 4. Yes, he looks waayy better 5. I agree but on a different side. I don’t like it because you cant really do a lot there yet. I agree with all of these! And with the customer support situation, it might be a region thing. I'm Dutch, and the Dutch support team reached out to me within a day! I can totally see the U.S. Support team for example, taking longer to respond to everyone, because there's so many more players on those servers!

i agree with you on the lisa/ranch one so much, i love the idea of a western farm in the middle of a previously empty field and i think they did a good job on creating just that, but the whole lisa thing does feel forced, and it makes no sense? also, lisa doesnt feel like.. lisa anymore:( i loved her style, her story, her dreams of becoming a rockstar, and they ruined it:/ i know things change, but this just doesnt feel right, i love her so much but i feel like we lost her (might be a bit overdramatic but come on)

I actually agree and see what you mean with a lot of these unpopular opinions. Like when you talk about the Fjord not being very realistic and how it's kinda short like a pony instead of being the bigger draft it's supposed to be. And I also think Lisa's design is pretty lackluster. She was originally made to be a rockstar who loves to be punk with her red hair and doesn't give a crap. Now she's almost too poetic and romanticized into being this sweet western girl which nobody has ever seen her as. It was a really sudden change. I do like that they gave her burgundy hair and ripped jeans, but I would've liked her more if they kept her unique red messy hair. Like the Lisa from the updated Star Stable trailer. I also liked Starshine from that trailer because he had navy blue mane instead of the bright blue mane. I think the navy blue looks more realistic and contrasts Lisa's bright red hair nicely and I was kinda hoping they'd look like that if they got updated. I don't hate their new designs, but I just think they looked good in that trailer. I think you put a lot of thought into this video and did a good job Eleanor! Keep it up :)

I agree with your opinion about the star shine ranch and how it does feel a bit weird for sso to force cramp so much western culture inside of Liza and her father, I didn't really mind it as much with Josh since he was already established imo to be that sort of western inspired cowboy that was there in the beginning of the online game so the fact that he decided to move to star shine ranch didn't surprise me one bit; it was almost as if there was a bit of character development for Josh as the game aged and eventually he wanted to make a home outside of Moorland that was his own or something like that. I actually wish they would've just had it be Josh's ranch since I feel like that would've made a little more sense instead of shoe cramping the idea Liza and her father are apparently very western now. I'm not trying to hate on the hard work that the team has done but I do feel like they went a little extreme on the new Liza in a way that she's basically a whole different character that just happens to share the same name. It's things like that which makes it hard to appreciate the new Liza imo.

I don't really know if my opinions are unpopular to be honest so I'm for now just going to comment on yours xD For the Fjord, I'm half agreeing with you. I like the old model, and while I think the gen 3 version looks better, it has some flaws. The tail, the coat (why is it so smooth?? Thought these horses were "floofy"?), and the way it gallopps. To me it looks like it's dragging its hooves more than using them to support the horse's body and pushing it forward (there are some models that do this). I can absolutely join you on the riding club thing! I find myself making clubs to avoid being spammed with invites. I've also tried joining some but the requirements to club horse, outfit, meetings and training just makes my head hurt. I've also experienced being kicked from a club because I couldn't/didn't want to play for a little while (1-2 weeks), and so I came back to the game finding myself clubless. Gee, thanks..! Sorry that I have a real life xD As for the Jorvik Wild horses I'm once again half agree xD I like most of them, but only as long as I don't consider them as "canon" or "real horses" in the game. I have multiple Jorvik Wild horses spread across my accounts and while there are a few I regret buying, it's not because they change coat or anything related to them being magical. Which reminds me I have one unpopular opinion actually - I do *not* like the Christmas Village or the Cloud Kingdom. SSO has, imo, a set of "rules" that I feel they break with these two locations. SSO is a 'real life' and 'realistic' game, which just so happens to involve a little magic. This magic, Aideen and Garnok/Pandoria should, in my opinion, be the only kind of magic in the game. So having a sled and a hot hair balloon take a horse and a rider to another location - a Christmas Village or even a location in the sky (where we for some reason don't fall straight through the clouds) is just too unrealistic for me. (And while I can use the balloon to get to Nick's camp in Dino Valley out of laziness, I'm not a fan of that either.) The Christmas Village by itself is gorgeous. I love the scenery, the houses, Santa and his helpers (they do need to update the reindeer models though), and the decorations. But I don't like how it's a completely different location that has nothing to do with Jorvik. And I miss the snow coming to the island. I'm hoping that as they slowly update the graphics we'll get the snow back and more seasonal weather/general weather patterns. We've already experienced different weather in a few quests and I would love it if I could log on one day to find that the weather actually changes..! Jorvik also did used to have snow near Christmas irl so we know it's possible.. I like James' upgrade too. I like that he looks older since it's been a few years since the original games (which I also played. The only ones I've never tried is the Star Academy series). However I do not like how he's so focused on money and almost scamming people (ex Mayor Peanut), and how he at the treasure hunt quest kept insisting that people who contributed with even finding the treasure should get from the player's share and not his. As for the other main characters I actually like the new looks on the Soul Riders, but I can join in on not liking Lisa's new story. She's this rock punk girl to me, not a country cowgirl. I'm also not a fan of Linda's new design, and I hope that when the main story progress, Anne will drop the whole "revenge" attitude, cause while I can understand the pov, considering everything that has happened to her, I don't like how she's so focused on it. But overall I like how all of them look older. Which brings me to the next point on our list - I really like Starshine Ranch as a concept. I love western riding (although I admit I've never actually tried it irl, but I loved the Summer Riders - Starstable CD game), and country style - both music and clothing. But having Starshine Ranch in the green fields of Firgrove just makes it look soooo out of place xD I'd like it much better if it was added as an additional/new area like Goldenleaf. Just imagining a red/orange mountain area where with the ranch lying in some valley, maybe with a river going by - now that would be amazing! And lastly, I too have yet to have a bad experience with customer support so I really don't get what people are complaining about there. In SSO's defence, they are probably getting a lot of terrible requests. I'm following their facebook page and I'm seeing a lot of examples in the comments where players and parents alike have forgotten all about manners and courtesy. I'm not saying that all of those who have bad experiences with the costumer support are being rude in any way, but I am willing to bet that some of them ought to have been and therefore are not SSO's favourite requests to reply to.. And while that shouldn't keep them from replying, I can imagine it having an effect on what is said and how long it takes for them to reply. This was a long comment haha, but it turned out I had some opinions myself ^^

I actually think at lot of people dislike the christmas village at least.. personally I feel like it's becoming a tradition at this point so I don't really mind it, but a lot of people say how they want snowy Jorvik back instead (I do see hoe snowy Jorvik interferes with the quests though, because the story is supposed to happen over the summer. I guess that's why they stopped doing that). There's not that many other ways to celebrate christmas though so they're probably gonna keep doing the christmas village, maybe change it up a little 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I agree with the fjord! I personally love riding clubs and I wouldn't be playing this game anymore if I wouldn't have joined one. Still, I totally get your point about riding clubs and you can play the game without being in one, I just have always thought that sso is kinda a social game to find friends. With social media the "club culture" has changed a lot though, like with more popular clubs, applications, must have discord and everything else. As Jorvik Wilds go, I think they are alright but I'm just not a person to buy them because I like the more realistic feel of the game and I have never ridden my Jorvik Wild. Still, as the game has developed I think the new coats are beautiful and more detailed and I will maybe be buying one if they release new ones! James is ok, I think he could still be nicer. With Starshine Ranch, I love the ranch area and all the updates and races and it's so pretty, but I also found it strange for it to be associated with Lisa and her family. Where did my confident rock star go? And yes, the customer service is okay. It could be a lot worse so I'm happy with what we have already, they answer you as good as they possibly can but they can take a lot of time with understanding some things and the answers can take a lot of time or there can be problems which take a lot of time to solve.

I'm sorry you don't like it, but I get where you come from, seeing this change most be really off-putting. The only thing I don't like is how they made the new quests, I got a little offended when they made her put an altar to her mother. The way they took a tradition, (one of MY cultural traditions as I'm mexican) it felt weird and not researched, just put there to make her a little more relatable to people like me, as Lisa is now half mexican, but it didn't hit me the way it was suppoused to. 6. I agree with every single opinion stated in this video (including the small peek at the updated soulriders)! And I am low key extatic that someone else feels this way too 😂 I have had some... Less than ideal experiences with the SSO customer service team but having worked wirh customer service myself I completely understand where they are comming from. My unpopular opinions: 1. The updated/Gen 3 Andalusian is the ugliest horse/breedin the game. The animations and gaits are horrid, the coat colours are boring, the mane and tail lool matted/like dreadlocks. The older model not only looks better but represents the real life breed WAY better. 2. The updated areas, while the textures are nicer, are ruining the feeling of the different areas. Moorland was a small intimate stable with rugged terrain all around. Now it looks just like all the other stables and the nature looks like it has been landscaped rather than the cozy "wild" feel. Same with the Greendale forest. Fort Pinta is a fort and a turist attraction and it used to look like one too, but now it looks overgrown with weeds and grass. Not to mention that the bridge is so bumpy I fear my horse will bounce off every time I cross. And the grass fading out into stone? Not how grass works. The Silverglade Equestrian Centre has gone from high class and sophistication to a barn. With random patches of grass and wildflowers (which makes no sense as we litterally have quests to FIX the garden) and the stalls where you can buy horses looking like it'll fall apart as soon as there is a bit of wind. The removal of one of the few nature spots we have to make room for Starshine Ranch (I already have an issue with Lisa and the whole western thing). Could they not have put that in a new area instead or close to a place where there already is a western hint? Like near Marleys farm. Especially as they remodelled (read removed) all the forest in the rest of Firgrove when they updated the races. The terrifying bees, dragonflies and fireflies that scare me half to death everytime one comes close. I mea not to be harsh but they are larger than the birds! (I promise there are uppdated areas that I don't hate, but when they change the feel of a place it upsets me 😂) 3. I want the ponies to be slower than horses again. It makes sense from a realistic POV. Ponies have shorter legs so they should not be able to run as fast. 4. Championships are overrated, as are the friendship races. 5. The new quests are too easy/too quick. You don't have to get off of your horse to do anything, there is no riding back and forth between different people and areas etc. The old midsummer quests vs the new ones are a perfect example. Quests are my favourite part of SSO so when they add new things I want it to take time to complete. I don't want to be able to complete it in 20 minutes.

YES!!! Before I started playing I used to watch StarStable on yt. I felt in love with the 1gen of Fjords and I always wanted him. When I reached the lvl when I could finally buy him, the old ones were removed from the game😭 so I had to wait even longer to buy the 3gen one ;-;

I understand what you mean with the fjords looking cartoony, I have been riding them in real life so I know what they look like as well so I know what you mean. They are cartoony because it was said that it would be SSO new theme. When they first updated the Silverglade area with the new textures, I was like "This is so cartoony" and then I got used to it since that was SSO new theme, more cartoony since a person who works for them said on her KZbin channel that the whole "realistic theme" will eventually look outdated after sometime and not look good anymore, so apparently this cartoony theme will not. For me the Jorvik Starter Horse looks a bit cartoony as well and sadly I guess that we will have to live with that since they already updated the horses. For me, the new Marwari and the Quarter is looking better. I get your sadness since one of my favorit breeds is the knabstupper and when they gave us the horse, I was disappointed. The fact that the forelock is just glued to the forehead and not moving at all made me sad, the fact that the black ones legs looks like someone took a bite from the white parts and that they clearly messed up with the placements of the dots. The dark bay snowflake one doesn't even look as good as the real ones does, I googled to check and in my opinion they failed at it. Same is for me with the Andalusian, I don't like the weird thing where they lift up their front leg in a weird way, I have never seen a horse do it and I don't find it cute. I don't like the fact that when you get the big braid for the mane, it doesn't more which it would do in reality so yes, some things are still in my opinon in need of fixing to make it better. I must agree with all of your opinions. And have nothing more to say. Except the fjord horses and Lisa. 1)the fjord horses - with the update i have a feeling that they - instead of upgrading fjords - they made the Przewalski horse (idk if this is correct english term, in Czech it's Kůň Převalského, so correct me if i wrote it wrongly) 2)The Lisa and other Soul Riders' update... as a someone who played Starahine legacy and Star Stable Riders from releasing it, i must say that i was quite disapointed how they changed them, both in look and personality. Tbh, i think that Linda and Alex are the same (or very similar to the old versions) but Lisa and Anne have changed a lot (but Anne could only get more mature, so for me it's not that big deal). But Lisa... really sso team? Tbh i could not recognize her... well, we did not have much space to get to know Soul Riders in Starahine Legacy, so... maybe some personal traits are the same. But i hate change from rock Lisa to country Lisa. It just don't suit the Lisa i know and love from Starahine Legacy.

Opinion 5: I do like Star Shine Ranch because it just looks good, but I don't like the new Lisa. I'm trying to forget the fact, the ranch is from Lisa and her dad. XD And my personal opinion: I like, that they give us that many horses! Every day I see videos that say: "Horses I want Star Stable to add", and the next day I see the same person saying: "Star Stable makes too many horses". Didn't we ask them to do that? And you don't have to buy a horse, when it comes to the game, you can wait until you have Star Coins. You pay once and get every week (often free) new content. That's a fair deal!

I think the problem with the fjord is that they got the connemara (a pony) model and then built up from there! I thought you were going to mention boy characters and if you could please respond and let me know if you do or do not want boy characters! I personally don't want them because they would just encourage dating and other things that shouldn't be happening in the game. But that's just me!

About the Fjords, I love both models, but i can understand everyone who loves the old ones more. As for the clubs... Honestly my club has been the reason i kept playing SSO for a long time. I feel like a good community, my "virtual family" can bring me online anytime. But true, since the horrible changes with the chat filter it's a lot harder. I also love the Jorvik Wild's although i had a hard time training them back then with 0 stats😂 With most of these opinions, honestly, i could probably relate to more if i had played the old games, but since i haven't, i'm fine with these things, with better graphics etc... Well, the customer support... I'm sure they are doing a GREAT job considering how big of a company they are. I personally haven't had much problems with the game, i had one or two questions that they answered quickly. However i had a club member and very good friend, who had a bug in the game during the quest where you discover Epona and Herman gets trapped. She explained everything so clearly to the support team, made multiple videos when they didn't understand the problem AT ALL and kept saying and sending things that didn't help anything. There was a time when they didn't answer for weeks🤷‍♀️ The problem was that her questline was completely frozen because of this issue. After she finished the available side quests, she basically couldn't do anything. After tons of messages back and forth, they suddenly stopped answering and about 5-6 months later the questline was fixed and she could continue. I mean okay, they fixed it and it might have took a long time, but how they didn't understand the situation and kept sending useless messages despite the clear, detailed explanation of the bug, was a bit ridiculous. 😶 But as i personally didn't have any bad experiences with the support, i guess she was just unlucky... Thanks for making this video, you shouldn't get hate for it, everyone has their personal opinions. 😊👍

You've been lucky with the support team. I've gotten a chat ban once for their problematic chat filters, and have asked them why I got it. I didn't try to curse, I don't think I said anything harmful to anyone and the person who answered my question screamed at me saying that if I'm going to yell at them about their chat then I can just not use it. (Wasn't yelling, in fact I was being rather respectful) It makes me think I just shouldn't ask help from them anymore. I just hope that the person just had a bad day and that's why they lashed out at me. Rather then that just be their personality, that way no one else gets yelled at

I actually agree with you on the customer support one. I have contacted Star Stable a few times when i've had an issue and they always managed to satisfy me with their help. I honestly don't see a problem with the customer service, Just my opinion.

I agree with the models!! the new ones definitely look more cartoony and unrealistic. same with the new graphics and textures. With the new horses, all star stable needed to do is tweak the animations and models a bit for old horses. Also with the new trees, and grass, but idk. its cartoony and meh. I want old sso back. (Remember when you first joined? Thinking moorland was huge? Looking for stars? Dang. Those were the days. :c)

I share them too and I am glad I am not alone. I always wondered, especially about the ranch and lisa, about james and about the fjord gen 1 (which I sadly missed the ability to get). Their customer support is amazing, any problem I’ve ever had they solved. My friend even received back her star coins because she bought the wrong horse! My unpopular opinion must be that I still HATE the new world graphics (with the nature, tree, rocks, water, grass, etc) looks horrific, but I do like some new items or objects that’s not nature related, sso is way too toony fortnite inspired, I was a fan of the realistic looking sso much because of nostalgia, I’d rather want them to make a new game or areas. I seriously quitted playing because of the graphics

I totally agree with #3! I LOVE the Jorvik Wild Horses! And have many of them xD
