That death at 4:08:00 is such bull. You have to disagree with Emily on something for Matt not to shoot the flare gun immediately like an idiot, if you fire it, then you have to choose "Jump to safety" TWICE when given the choice to save her. It just happened to me and I'm so pissed

These kinds of games, with bawk talking about playing it on hard mode, I think shouldn't have any difficulty setting. Like with the dark souls games, it should be played the way it is intended. I think the harder settings take away the fun and meaning of these games. Just feels like a waste of time on the developers for adding in different settings for a story driven game.

Love how the characters are freaking out going "if you get bit by the wendigo you become one" based on literally no information at all, they didn't even know what a wendigo was until the guy mentioned it. Fantastic game though I love the B horror movie aesthetic

I wasn't sure if I was mistaken, but the song literally at the very end sounded very similar to the one in Supernatural when Sam & Dean meet Death for the first time. Then I think I realized its probably the same song different singer. Different sound. Edit: Well actually probably more like Dean meets him for the first time, because if I have it right, is Season 5 or something and Dean needs the ring from Death's finger and Death is just chillin eating Chicago pizza.

7:05:05 I would have just chosen boards since I played all the reboot Tomb Raider games and Lara is able to do some crazy shit even when being fucked up to no end, also when you are in danger, the fight or flight response makes you pump up adrenaline like crazy which not only makes you "stronger" but also makes you "forget" about pain

Ashley investigating the voice isn't an insta kill. You can choose to not open the trap door. There's a totem that way so you can definitely go there. I do think that saying "try to run" is the indication for Jess to hide. Normally Matt breaks through the boards so I understand why Jess in her condition would be unlikely to. As for the choice in the cabin, Sam saves everyone and then hits the switch. If you were setting the controller down you should've been fine lol. The totem with Mike is if he's injured and Sam dies, he'll sacrifice himself to blow up the cabin.

You know, Sanatorium 2 should have been a great place for Mike to die based on how many bullets you use, and if he dies there maybe nobody could survive in the end or only a few. But nope. They decided to give him and Sam massive plot armor until the endgame, so no matter what you do they can't just die.

6:00:13 I have a problem with this line of thought. It feels circular. Those kids pranked his sisters and tragedy befell them. This guy pranked his "friends" and a tragedy befell them. So far at this point, the only thing he's really guilty of is punching (assaulting) Ashley- one of the original people that are at worst, connected to the tragedy that befell his sisters. He is indeed guilty of other things, but being a dick isn't illegal.
