It's not that schools and colleges are totally a waste...if we didn't go to a school or college how should a someone's live be save by a doctor.. How would a huge building be constructed by an engineer ...Schools and colleges are for the people who wants to have a traditional job in their career.. It's not for everybody.. I think that's the only mistake our education system have that if have chemistry biology, there also should be a class of accounts ,to know about stocks taxes and all that kind of stuff.. At the end it all depends on of one's perspective.. Whether he or she wants a traditional job or self employed..
