Yes I use Loc and gel too and my mom maintains my locs and I can literally feel on my locs when she used too much when u use just the right amount it works like a charm! I noticed this when I retwisted my perimeter myself that a little goes a long way

Design Essentials is the 🐐 that almond and 🥑 and that peppermint and aloe is it for me and I also use their rosemary and mint conditioner to deep condition when my hair feels dry

😍your locs are beautiful. When I started mine my loctician used only DE products. Hopefully their formula never changes. Anyone have tips to prevent thinning?

I know right, I hope they never change it either because I really love their products just the way they are currently! I’ve experienced thinning over the years. Preventative things I do now are to not wear my hair up as much & to try and avoid tight styles, especially around the edges.

I wash my hair every 9 to 10 days I have about 92 locks and it takes me 35 minutes to retwist my hair. I have no idea why it took you so long to do this. Looks good in the end but😮😂🎉🎉🎉🎉.

Lol, thank you!! I have close to 200 locs. This was maybe my 3rd time in 18 years retwisting on my own. Maybe you go much faster because you have less locs and more practice 🥰
