This is probably one of the better loc tip videos I’ve seen. I agree with everything. A good Shampoo, mist (water) and quality natural oil has literally brought me the best hair health ever. I truly enjoy taking care of my own locs and look forward to Wash/retwist day! 🙏🏽

It was a blessing to be in a family that wears locs. I started with two strand twist. I'm so excited about this journey. I get a lot of compliments when my roots are at their fullest. It feels weird cause I'm ready to get them done and ppl think it's pretty. Lol I'm definately learning and growing.

Such a great video. I am happy with how my locs are. I had a loctician start me and she put me on a regimen that was good for my hair type and i still use it 3+ years later. I only spray and oil my hair once a week. I go to the salon to get my hair done about every 8-10 weeks. I tried to do it myself but it took me 10 hours and that is crazy. Your hair is gorgeous and i am glad i stumbled upon your channel. I am over 3 years in and i still love to watch starter loc videos for some reason.

My only regret was not making them a bit smaller. I recent went to have them don’e for the 1st time and I didn’t like the experience. I’m not particular with clean parts, however he created clean parts by ripping my hair. I started my own locs my and i twist to the left and he twists to the right. No one will touch my hair anymore.

Hey, your hair is SO beautiful! I am just about done with installing my install by tonight or in the morning. I am installing two-strand twists as microlocs. I would like to know is it okay to twist them only, or must I interlock at the root? I tried a few in the beginning when I started a few weeks ago, but interlocking seems too rough and tight for my thick-but fine hair. Is retwisting okay and safe?

Retwist is the only method I’ve ever used to maintenance my hair, so I definitely say it’s safe!
