Holy cow! You spent enough on the items in 2019 to have purchased a K or B. I reach out to my SA by email every 2-3 months and I go in only when I really really want something. She has my requests and I’m willing to wait for what I want. I have my dream Kelly, a B35 preloved and my first Hermes bag; a lovely So Kelly. I have other high end bags that keep me satisfied and happy. I’ll try my luck in Paris in March for another B35 or K32. But, I’ve changed my strategy and I’m saving money and happy too! yes exactly and thats why i like to share my journey because I want people to understand how the process can be sometimes - dependent on where you live/boutique stock/typical system. So even though it is annoying to have spent so much i at least am aware this is how it is and i just have to be very particular with what i buy so its not just a case of "buying to score" its more so 'buying because i really like the item". but essentially i share my journey because i feel there is alot of mystery when it comes to obtaining Hermes bags and frankly alot of dishonesty so some may take my journey as a something they want to avoid with a ten foot pole and others may say well "ok I am aware what potentially could happen but i still want to shop there because i love the brand". my videos about Hermes are to educate and inform because we need more honesty in this world :)

This is a very honest video and I appreciate it. Keep in mind that when you sell a bag u will Never get your money bag or very rare. Why would anyone pay full price for a used ba when you can go to the store and get the full experience? Even if you can't get it at store no one wants to pay full price for a used bag. I am going through the samething. I want my my money back understand that people want a deal especially if they are buying preloved. I learn a lot from your videos. You sure spend a lot at Hermes the bag charms i think are a waste of money they hide the beauty of the bag. Plus they are so pricey . Thanks for video hun

Yes I agree U can't expect ur money back but I talk about it because there is so many misconceptions in the luxe community where people talk as though these bags are a guaranteed investment to hold value but it's not exactly the case it's more of a loose interpretation, they hold value in the sense they are classic and desirable and have a price rise every year but that doesn't mean they will resell for what we paid. So that's more so what I mean when I talk about loosing money because I want others who are confused to understand it's not a literal investment bag.

in the beginning with Hermes it was learning what works for me, i do have 3 forever Hermes bags which is a nice feeling having found exactly what works.

I just got a Kelly in a bright colour but still waiting to be offered a neutral colour in B30 or K25,28 sizes.. which are so much harder to be offered than a pop of colour bag. Yes anyone who is still saying it's rare is wrong lol. It's changed alot since maybe 10-12months ago. Even when I bought mine it was already on the decline and I should have realised that my usual rule of thumb with any investment is never buy when it's dropping or rock bottom it's safer to buy when it's just starting to creep up because then you know U have a safer investment. But we live and learn right? 🧡

Airport store definitely have Constance I got my Constance 18 in butler leather there , and the good news is the price has not increased a lot , some even dropped a little bit 😛

Yes that's what I thought I heard that the airport store does get Constance's. But I haven't heard of any Birkin or Kelly bags at that store. Yes this year there was hardly a price increase, thank goodness! Last year was up like 9-12% 😬

I think its retail in general has a high turn over haha i dont blame them though its a hard job and they arent paid the best unless they work up to Management role. But i agree its very annoying especially when the Hermes system is very dependent upon your relationship with your SA... *sigh* and thankyou i should link my constance bag in the description especially because AFF now has a valentines day sale so its heavily discounted.

Yes have used unbranded and left them on without problems but also depends the quality of the product too.

Yes that's the whole purpose of why I share honestly my journey . I want others to be able to decide what's best for them if they love buying Hermes items then store journey is a great option but frankly not everyone is into the other items or they don't like the uncertainty of what they will be offered and when then perhaps resale/Preloved is better for them. Have a think hun and decide what's best for you!

agree if you have a history with an SA in other brands they are more likely to get you popular bags like the pochette metis. I just wish bags like the verrou or constance that aren't the birkin/kelly popularity would be more readily available

Yes I seen k25 magnolia. It's much easier to get pop colours because even though there is a demand the neutrals are always demanded for much more.

20k omg. I’m crossing fingers for you. It’s been almost a year for me and I’m on my third sa in the last three years and the second in one year. I’m hoping for a bag offered soon but will only buy what I like. I’m still on the hunt for a so black rodeo. I keep missing out and really would love a Pegasus herbag. I also want some home goods and a sweater but I’d like a bag first!! I would love gold black or navy in k25/28 or b25 but I think my store is really hard so I don’t know. 😢 thanks for posting this!

I totally get your feeling. There are items I want but I want a bag so I'm trying to resist fulfilling any more or anything big on the wishlist. I think we need to just pester our SA say we have been loyal and spent on items we love but we do want a bag too. I did that with my 3rd SA who then offered me the B30 etoupe ghw and she understood my plight. I hope for both of us 2020 is brings us some 🍊

Not really because I still have my store offer and another hard to get bag I have only ever received two dream bags from store 🤷‍♀️ and one of which I sold after many months of use because it wasn't working out. I didn't immediately resell it, and the boutique does know about that I had told one of my 5 SAs about it not working out and I had no issue with an offer after. They won't offer to people who are buying then immediately reselling that is the definition of a reseller to buy never use and resell for profit.

I understand i was so nervous first time I went in but the first SA I ever had was so fantastic so friendly and humble if it wasn't for her I probably wouldn't even be on this journey because she made it easy to become comfortable shopping there. Actually I know of people who go to Japan to score but I know more who have success in Korea!

I think this video coupled with your video about why you gave up Hermes explains things to me. Posting what you spent at Hermes is definitely one way to not be offered a sought after bag. Hermes pays people to go online and watch these videos, go on ebay and see what is being sold... talking about your journey is fine, talking about how long its been since you got a sought after bag is fine. Telling people how much you spent and implying that the reason you spent that money was to be offered a bag (i.e., saying you're disappointed to have spent x dollars when your SA leaves) is a no-go in Hermes... spend money and buy things, wear your purchase and love the bags and things you have. Hermes (and most people) see talking about how much money you spend as tacky. Reselling is a fine line too... buying and selling too much hermes is a red-flag for them... and I've seen your videos where you talk about all the bags you've sold... its not a good look to sell multiple sought-after bags and then want them to offer you more. My wife got offered 35 bags in two years (she didn't take any of them mostly because she has a Kelly 30 and a Kelly 25 both in neutral colors and a constance in pink sakura and is satisfied with those) because she goes in, buys what she likes, is polite and doesn't talk about what she spends (she does with me of course since we share finances but not with other people). The only thing she talks about when she talks about Hermes we others is what she thinks, good and bag about he items. Her SA's are always happy to offer her bags... literally every bag on your wish list.
