Earlier this year, I traveled to Asia and had an incredible experience in China where I was offered a choice of four Birkin and Kelly bags! After the intense 3:1 wait in NYC, it felt surreal to pick the one I wanted. I ended up with my very first Kelly 25, and I'm thrilled!

I’ve never heard of such luck - so happy for you! 🎊 A Kelly 25 is perfection and currently at the top of my wish list too. 😊 And I totally get your frustration with the H scene in NYC. It’s tough! I started building my purchase history here but quickly realized it would cost me twice as much as a few trips to Paris, so I’ve decided to focus on building it there instead. I’m actually surprised to hear they had such a big selection in China! From what I’ve heard, Asia and Australia are usually some of the hardest places to score a quota bag. For starters I’d like to congratulate you on posting your first video! I had no idea it was your first video until I looked at your account after watching the whole video! Re: your Paris H story: I am a long time customer of the George V store in Paris and I’ve gotten an appointment the last 2 summers using the appt system and gotten offered bags but this year did not manage to get one! I think it was a hard year at H Paris.

Prior to 2020 I got a b35, a Constance 18 and a croc Constance wallet over the years from George V. In 2022 I got offered a Picotin touch during my appointment but did not accept. Last year during my appointment I was offered 3 bags and took all 3 - a b25 etoupe PHW (my absolute dream bag!!), a Maximors in red, and a garden party. So I scored big! That was all offered to me without any other pre spend. This year I spent €7k during the week I was there on clothes and no luck with an appt either by the system or walking in! Very strange.

Love that minimal, unique vibe. And a B25 in Etoupe? Absolute dream bag! That was actually one of the bags I was hoping for too, so huge congrats on scoring it. I’m genuinely so happy for you! It’s wild they didn’t offer you at least a walk-in appointment, especially with your purchase history. I kind of thought a strong history might make things easier, but I guess there are no guarantees. Were you there around the Olympics, by any chance? I forgot to mention in my video, but when I was there in July, they told me they didn’t have any bags in stock because of all the street closures for the Olympics - apparently, the delivery trucks couldn’t even make it to the store! Talk about bad timing, right? 😂

@ I got one Birkin 35 in Gold, one 30 in Togo black and rose gold hadware and the last one I didn’t show yet is a birkin 25 in Etoupe gold hardware I never ever take an appointment I just walked and I asked in case they have a cancellation sometimes it works pretty easy

I’ve never tried the B35, but I’ve thought the same - it seems like it might be a bit too big or heavy for everyday use, though I guess it depends! I thought the 30 would be too big for me at first, but when I tried it on, it was actually very nice.
