PS: If there is any Vanda that I used to have and I didn't show in this video or mentioned it in text on video.. then it doesn't exist anymore, causes can vary, I gave some away, fusarium is a big cause too so.. yeah I don't have them anymore 🤷🏻♀️

Danny! You have to take care of our friend! Don’t be embarrassed, it happens. But if you know you get woozy, you have to take care. I say that from a position of feeling like you’re a friend I haven’t gotten to meet in person. You’re important to us, and we want you to be ok. But at the risk of sounding like I’m lecturing, I don’t want anything to happen to you. Good job boyfriend for being there and having our girl’s back! And Danny, thank you for sharing personal business when you don’t have to. I personally love to hear it and know how you are. Much love! 💜

Haha, I have totally passed out in public and I have the same issues when I give blood. I'm so sorry that this happened to you! I always think that I can be brave, too, and then it is too late. Fortunately, I have never hit my head or anything. I am glad that you are okay! Thanks for showing off your vandas again!

Happy to know that you are OK, same happened to me once and that time I went to the doctor alone, she was so nice to help me out. I also dreamt when I passed out and they were saying also really heavy to be picked up.

I cannot grow my vandas in pots otherwise I kill them. Barerooted is the only way they live. Glad it's working so well for you. They look great!

Hi Danny. Haha. Been there done that. Low blood pressure while extracting blood might cause you to pass out. Especially when doing in horizontal position and standing up afterwards will... For two days before procedure drink lots of liquids ( !! ) especially water and eat salty ? Some people will pass out even if they think of a needle prick. Lovely story. Thank you. Also terrific idea to pot Vandas instead of bare rooting.

I understand how you felt in that situation. I passed out in the chair right after the procedure and woke up on the floor, blocking the narrow hallway completely, with my shoes off and a nurse holding my feet up. It's pretty funny remembering it now, but I was so embarrassed at the time with everyone fussing over me and watching me like a hawk. But yeah, it happens to a lot of people. And p.s. I'm pretty young, too, and I had more elderly people just hopping up all fine and dandy after their procedure and trying to somehow get around me to leave. Gosh, I must have apologized like 6 times.

Hi Danny, If you like Unique looking Vandas, I recommend vanda barnesii and Vanda javierae, they are the only white Vandas out there and they are so pretty! Both are native to the Philippines.

Hi Miss dani, super love your collection of vandas, I never have much because they are too big but they have a charm of their own..please do a little update about your other orchids that reside outside, how they do, like your ground orchids, epidendrums and dendrobiums that need a cool drop down temp? I have callista dendrobiums though, thanks 😂😂 I hate needles that's why I close my eyes if it's necessary, but I never like taking a bag of blood from me, it creeps me out 😆

I love Vanda orchids, but I have a cool house with low humidity. Would a self watering pot work for a Vanda?? I really want to try these orchids again. Think I'll give the clay pots a try! Thank you for the info!

Ok, you're keeping vandas in pots, with medium, they aliiiive😍 So there is a chance for me to finally not kill a vanda🙄 I have so much hope. I only recently decided to try my luck with renantheras... Maybe they are more merciful for me (or I am for them🤔🤷♀️) Vanda tricolor and sanderiana - dreams🤩

I think the vanda is the perreiraara tony tan king yam (vanda willis hybrid), it looks exactly like mine. A little darker and gets coloured spots on slightly smaller leaves leaves unlike the regular Bangkok sunset. Also the leaves are more upward rather than arching

Mya is always so cute in your videos. I see almost all of your vandas are in terracotta pots with a bark mix. How often do you need to water in this setup? I’m new to vanda types and I’ve two in their original baskets kept inside glass vases to keep humidity a little higher.... but I have to spray them daily 🤦🏻♀️ PS. Don’t be so hard on yourself, I’m glad your bf caught you and you are ok.

I have what I think it’s a denisoniana hybrid. It’s a vandaceus orchid which it’s a headache; she got crown rot, doesn’t have a lot of roots, doesn’t grow any new roots despite the care.

Everyone is different when it comes to blood work. I'm 6'6 with a needle phobia and when I get extensive blood work I get dizzy also. It's a whole emotional roller coaster for me even at with my size 😆. No need to be embarrassed. I'm glad you are fine and can laugh about it now. With the denisonianas, I've been told by a big vanda grower they are known to not be vigorous compared to other vandas. He refuses to grow them actually. I guess he thinks it's not worth the trouble 🤷🏽♀️

Hi Danny, This is just out of curiosity, but how are the sundew seeds doing that you got back in April ? And you really do not need to be embarassed!
@ionescuionut50414 жыл бұрын
You shouldn't feel bad because anxiety is a thing we all have and sometimes we get to those higher levels... This is the mechanism called the flight or fight response. All your blood went to your feet trying to make you run away. So you should try not to be afraid of getting blood tests :)

Hi MOG. I just purchased the MSU fertilizer from repotme. And I only added 1/2 a teaspoon to a gallon of distilled water. The TDS was 375. Is this normal? I noticed there were granules and dust. I’m wondering if i scooped to much dust in my granules. Idk. Help!

I am so hopeless and clueless about my Vandas. Could you tell me why Vanda drops leaves and the stem is like a cube swimming in water (there is sometimes deflection)? I have no idea with what I deal. Hence, I just hanged them onto tree bark (mounted orchids you know) and put them into airy living Moss , so they are oriented in their way. This way, a few of them did like and stop dropping leaves and grow new roots. Other continued but slowly to their inevitable death. The whole process is like she dying from inside (within the stem). Whats the problem? I did not see it on the internet. Stem becomes yellow and the colour is like Phaelanopsis dried rotten crown. What is the problem? I hope they will get used to new environment. Do I kill them or they suicide? Or some fungi does its own job?! Clueless.
