MY VARAM CAI HAS A SERIOUS FLAW!! MY CAR WENT POTATO MODE :(

As you all know, I recently installed a new intake (Varam Air Ram CAI) on my 2010 Camaro SS. The intake itself has a unconventional design that requires upmost delicacy and precision when installing. Anyways, there's a flaw I discovered in the intake's design which ultimately led to my car being unavailable for almost two weeks. Here is an update!

Had a duel snorkel Vararam on my 2002 Z06, worked like a charm for me.

I was wondering if you could trim it also, as long as it doesn't cut through and make a hole through, that might work?

Had the same issue on my Camaro. I switched the hoses to the Mishimoto silicone hoses

I’ve never been a big fan of the Varam. I threw a GM Z28 cold air on mine and it’s awesome.

It's not that it's a poor design on a Vera Ram can you put a aftermarket Radiator on your car that's bigger than the factory radiator so that's designed for the factory radiator that's why they tell you to read the instructions and put it on right

Hey Sean, I've tried repositioning it and aligning it with others that haven't had issues, no luck. I'll be fixing it later today to see if I can screw in the overflow hose tube and see if it makes a difference.

@@gvaspirated I have a 2014 Chevy Camaro with a aftermarket radiator in a supercharger a Magnuson I had to take my Vera ram off cuz I had to use a a roto Fab intake and I had to send it back and put the factory intake in there because it wouldn't fit because of radiator so I understand your pain
