I absolutely love hdc and hhdc but if I'm not focused I find dc mixed in...lol...a lot easier than ripping out knitting so I don't mind.

Yes, if you're a beginner and still learning to identify your stitches, this is not a good yarn to start with. But if you've done a few projects, you can use this yarn by feel. And since it's forgiving, your work doesn't have to be perfect.😁💕

Hi there! The yarn is size 5 bernat velvet yarn in quiet pink. I used two strands of it together. The hook is a size L hook 8mm. 🙂💕

Why it came curled...how to fix it

Are the edges curling/rolling onto themselves? You might be crocheting too tight. Try going up 1 hook size. Let me know if that helps at all.
