I do wish more KZbinrs would consider the backgrounds when filming. So often I have abandoned watching just because I can't see the yarn as it's the same colour as the background. I was so happy to find this easy to follow video for making a scarf. My son called me two days before Christmas to let me know he was bringing a guest to Christmas. She is an avid crocheter and does remarkable pieces. I wanted to be able to give her a gift, so I made this scarf. It took me a day and a half of pretty steady work. The scalloped edges is what makes it really pretty.

I am making the scarf as a surprise to send since he had mentioned the previous one so much. This was a Godsend to come across. Thanks for any sacrifices you make to do these videos. I found this tutorial in November, and as a fairly new crocheter, I gave the pattern a go. It was really easy to follow, and I made a couple of scarves as Christmas presents. I used variegated wool, and they turned out beautifully. It's a great pattern if you want to crochet while watching TV as it is not complicated, and the repetitive nature of the rows is very relaxing to do. Great tutorial.

I have problems sometimes with edges. This simple pattern totally eliminates the issue of the edges looking perfect and lined up perfectly. On top of that is the fact there are no issues knowing which stitch to go into to start a new row. As a beginner I have unintentionally increased the stitches so it kept getting wider. So frustrating!! And this is using my favorite stitch. So fast and so easy. Thanks so much for teaching us. You do a fabulous job. I can’t wait for your next video.

Thank you! I'm a beginner and was looking for an easy project to start crochet and I just finished my very first scarf with a lovely variegated yarn! Never finished the ones I tried knitting...(I'm so bad at knitting but enjoy crochet very much!). I'm so proud of myself! But that is all thanks to you and your amazing tutorial, your instructions are clear and you don't go too fast, I love it ! I'm going to give this scarf to my mum for her birthday. Next project: the daisy key chain !

Gorgeous stitch pattern! The resulting scarf looks so classy -- it could go dressy or casual. I love the muted colors yarn (reminds me of RH's "Unforgettable"). Equally as beautiful in the "Ocean" colorway -- with or without the cream colored stripe! Thank you for a VERY clear, understandable, and well-paced video! 🏆🙌 ❤️
