Hi Annie! I just have to thank you for making this video. I am SO TIRED of my endless to-do lists. They're like a weight around my neck. Focusing on the atmosphere of my home is something that will definitely motivate me, and your clean bathtub story was my "aha" moment. Just wanted you to know that you're making a difference in people's lives. ❤

Love it! I believe in scripting intentions but I never could make Jenny’s way work. I also found I was scripting the same thing every day with things like you mention about the bigger reasons as to why I need to clean the fridge. I like the idea of scripting my intentions more as goals and then maybe reading those every morning. I do morning pages so I’ve done some scripting on there and that has helped get me in the right frame of mine to get done those tasks that are hard to muster up motivation. Thank you so much for sharing!

Thank you for saying... sometimes you write things as they happen or after the fact. That is life. I've learned that while I script my day based on what's important to me and how I want my day to go I do get side tracked for good reasons. This confirms that it's okay! I too love to have my house decorated for the upcoming holiday. I do plan 10 minute declutters. I used to have them everyday for a about 2 weeks and now I plan them about twice a week due to enjoying keep my home clean and ready for unexpected company at all times.

Hi Annie this is the first time hearing and applying the ‘script method’ . I am one to jot down ‘to-do’s in my bullet journal, which is often not done. I am delighted in the way you explained this method which makes so much sense. I think that it addresses the idea of why and how we complete our daily ‘to-do’ list by incorporating it into a form that in my opinion is more appealing. Thanks Annie🙂

this is truly great; it does make such a difference. This, along with your recent habit-stacking and routines videos is so useful and inspiring for achieving what i think all of us really want, which is to create/maintain a feeling of beauty in our homes and in our lives. took me a long time to even get close to this sort of approach, as it can just be hard to focus on results sometimes, getting pulled down by the tasks themselves. but once you turn the corner, it is so freeing. thank you so much for another inspiring video

I love this! Atmosphere and intention are great words to use and I think even more feminine. It’s more of a masculine thing to make hard lists and goals. Not that women can’t have lists and goals but the feminine nature is just more fluid and less rigid and structured. A lot of American women have adopted a masculine way of living and it’s honestly really hard on them. Some may not realize it but the burnout is there. Anyway, these are some thoughts I had and I just love how this video resonated with me.

You did a great job explaining in a different way than Jenny and a few others I have gleaned from on KZbin. I'm like you on wanting the steps a-z, but not in how much or how little to write that part seemed to come out naturally once I got started. Pixie planner was great to watch and get more of a step by step process of the PPM and then watching Jenny made way more since and now yours adding how to set the tone and fill in the white space as you go about your day. Currently, I'm using two diy monthly plan books one for scripting my days and one for my actual daily pages. In my actual daily pages I have a small column for tracking and listing out things I need and want to do and the other side of the pages is where I memory keep. So the night before I list out and go over what I need and want to get done. Then I just over to my scripting book and now I can write out a beautifully intended day with a more natural flow since I know what needs and wants to get done. This has been so great! I don't over fill my to do list and certainly don't live by it and I fill fruitful because I'm including the things I truly desire to do that fill me up or make me excited to live life cheerfully. And I'm seeing more and more of my default attitude being joy than when I just made a to do list. Its really quite amazing how scripting changes your mindset and help your flow into the things you normally don't like or want to do.

Ok Annie, you did an awesome job of explaining a very personal, very different form of planning! I’ve been trying to wrap my head around this method for a long time. I knew the key was the goals/intentions (love your “atmosphere” word), but I find these difficult to pin down. I really want to use this system to be more focused on God and how He wants me to spend my time (it is so perfect for that!), so it’s all percolating in the back of my brain on how to do it, I just haven’t nailed it down yet. I really appreciate your take on this and how you stress that it IS a personal method and different for everyone because we are all coming from different places in our lives. I think that isn’t stressed enough, especially for those who like step by step instructions. 🙋♀️
@SirMopy4 жыл бұрын
Rosemary Soto God doesn‘t want you how to spend your time how HE/SHE/IT likes it. You decide how to spend it your way. Don‘t use him/her/it for an excuse/reason to do stuff or how your life should be. Never let ANYONE say how to live your life! Because if you don‘t it‘s the way extremists are thinking, and that‘s dangerous!

Just want to let you know. "Scripting method" AKA manifestation. Is from law of attraction evil stuff... Your basically 'speaking/writing things into existence. Its not of God.

I agree, that’s why I DON’T do manifestation in my version of the scripting method. Instead, I choose to foster a family culture and peaceful atmosphere in our home through planning. As I describe clearly in my video, there is no manifestation.
