I’m curious in general what time you clock in/ click out as a cca- vs established regular. Also you mention you make less as regular because of less overtime. Can you be a regular and still request to work overtime and get 10-12 hrs as a regular? I’m coming from a nigh shift job so I don’t care how many long hours I work as long as I get to sleep at night lol

Excellent news, Richard. Congratulations. It's a great feeling to have your own route and you'll do well on it. I've been on my route in Durham NH 03824 for over 9 years and I've gotten to know many of my postal route customers and watching their kids grow up and many other changes in the time I've been doing the route. You can stay on the route as long as you continue to work for the postal service, but do bid on other routes if you want or need a change. You do look quite professional in your carrier uniform.

Hello, I know it's been a while since you've posted this video. I actually watched all your usps videos and thought they were great, super informative, and encouraging, unlike other usps videos. I have 3 questions I hope you wouldn't mind answering when you can. 1) Are you still working for USPS? If not, why? 2) From the time of your orientation to the time you received your own route, did you get any pay raises? 3) What was your starting pay as a CCA, your most recent pay, or last hourly pay amount? Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences! It is so appreciated, I'm currently waiting for my fingerprints to clear before I can start training as a CCA in the Los Angeles area. I'm really excited bc I have no children or husband and loads of free time

1. Yes, I still work there! 2. I think I received 1 cost of living raise. Not sure how much it was and those don’t happen regularly 3. Unfortunately, I’m not totally sure on either. I think I started off around $19 an hour and I think I make like $25 an hour now

Although I would prefer UPS long term, I'm considering taking it because I cant afford to work part time much longer.
