My cousin went to Garden grove high school and I was also supposed to go there before I moved out of California. I also use to go to the pond and feed the ducks, I use to have my mom or aunt drop me off and hang out at the pond while they go across the street to Da lat super market or costco. I use to me so amaze at how one day they built a huge giant fair (strawberry festival) across the street and a week later it was all gone, when I was a kid I thought it was magic

@@kyleledotnet also I did use to go to $1.99 restaurant with my parents all the time, I actually never cared for the com Ga but I would get the com tấm sườn bì chả with side of soup. I swear they had the best soup and Cha but one day they stop selling the Cha because they said some lady complained that it sucked so they stop serving it, I was so heartbroken. Till this day I think they still dont have Cha. Also my first time meeting a white man that spoke literally fluent vietnamese was at this Restaurant, he said he was a lawyer but his Vietnamese was perfect with no accent at all

Dude, I'm from that area. Back in the day it use to be $1.99 if you ate there but if you take it to go they charge a little more. My friend use to work at that fish store too. I think the guys name is like Harn or something like that. The food court called Steelcraft by Garden Grove library has some good food. Banh trang at Vat OC is good. House coffee at 7 leaves is good too. Costco pizza is pretty good and cheap.

Yes, Steelcraft has some good stuff, but is pretty expensive. Opened up in 2018 or 2019. Still pretty new. Unfortunately the pandemic hit some of the businesses there pretty hard so some had to close and new ones replaced it. I'm still sad about Honey & Butter macarons.

If you are going to drink water from a fountain let it run 30-60 seconds as it will significantly reduce the risk of inadvertently consuming toxic levels of metals or plastic compounds, or exposing yourself to elevated bacterial levels. Unfortunately ,the metallic taste and foul odor is still there. Next time carry along a water bottle . 😊

Eh Kyle. I was in the service stationed at MCAS El Toro. I drove by this place so often at the beginning of the Vietnamese shopping centers. My friend and I decided to try a Vietnamese dish one night. We stopped and ordered a full meal. But I don't remember them all or how much it cost. The only thing I remember clearly was the very tasteful of white rice which we put soy sauce on it. That alone taste very delicious. We didn't have soy sauce in our Chow Hall, nor in our hamburger places out in civilian world.

Hahaha. Yeah been going to $1.99 to eat the chicken since 1997. Yes, If I remember correctly many items would be actually $1.99. Except the chicken, it would always be the most expensive meal on the whole menu. But like $2.99 while the other items would be actually $1.99. Hahaha. I still go there to this day.

don't want to be a jerk, but feeding ducks with white bread is animal cruelty. Why should you not feed ducks with bread? Bread and other baked goods are anything but healthy for ducks and other waterfowl, as it swells up their stomachs. The animals are not able to properly digest bread. Additionally, baked goods often contain salt and sugar, which are just as unhealthy for the birds as fast food is for us humans. If ducks primarily feed on bread, this also leads to deficiencies and makes the animals susceptible to diseases.
