I mean, La Brava and Gentle were also nice in their own way. These two and Twice are villains who are actually good people, that just happened to have unfortunate life that led them in this wrong path. But in the end you can see the good in them and with enough help they could turn out to be the good guys. The opposite characters who could be "normal" citizens if not for some events in their past, but are already too far twisted and evil to get redemption would be Toga and Dabi.

11:32 i agree with Roshi. if you love My hero Academia just find the manga online and start at chapter 219. you see what happens to the broker Giran and given they have 5 episodes to animated the arc (Because they thought it was a good idea to drag out the joint arc, add 2 fillers and move my villian arc about) a lot more detail is covered than what you will see here. The scene at the beginning of this episode of Shigi getting electrocuted, it was more graphic in the manga with blood spewing out of him. don't get me wrong, I still love this episode and might circling back round to it but I would agree to read the chapter there on, a lot of it will be censored

The stuff with Spinner and him questioning the League is kind of interesting. Like the reason most of them are there is because they idolized Stain, and now everyone's there for a different reason. Spinner even went as far as to intervene between one of the villains and Deku back at the Pussycat Camp thing, saying Deku was a hero Stain considered worthy. I won't spoil much, but right now in the manga, like 70 chapters after the MVA arc finishes, and that bitch Overhaul made a comeback before Stain did and all he did was whine like a bitch looking like the Black Knight from Monty Python wanting to see the boss again while [REDACTED FOR SPOILERS] was dodging mid-air pot-shots. Stain is an interesting character overall. I'm disappointed there isn't more with him. I hope at least Stain or at least Spinner and Deku will confront each other or meet in the middle. At the very least, I'd want Spinner and Deku to talk; Spinner would want to see what made this kid so special. UPDATE: Granted, Stain does make cameos and is mentioned, it's implying this is building up to something, but as of now he's never been the main focus.

They honestly didn't skip anything dealing with spinner. Other than his little argument with shigaraki but nothing that was a must. I just went and re-read the chapters that are part of this episode and they honestly didn't skip really anything important. They are adapting this really good so far to start out with. Plus the arc isn't that long that it needed half a season to adapt when it was only 20 chapters. So honestly 6-7 episodes is fine especially when they adapt 3-4 chapters per episode.

The manga humanised the league a bit more though, they also skipped the whole cult thing. It isn’t that this episode isn’t good but it makes me worry for the upcoming episodes, and which parts they may skip. There is barely any build up for the fight unlike the manga which I guess is kind of a pity. I think the season in general could’ve had better pacing, this arc is one of the better arcs and they could’ve atleast dedicated 7 episodes to it in my opinion. Or given it its own intro as it is more about villains but the intro has a lot of U.A. The endeavor arc was a bit long in my opinion but ofc it doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy this season, I just hope they don’t mess up anything in upcoming episodes.

6 episodes is enough for the rest of MVA, there gonna fit everything into it just there rearranging nothings getting cut. Watch the preview of next weeks episode 21 to see further proof of this. They already did the Todoroki/Bakugo license stuff early and got them out the way for MVA, to further prove this point they planned ahead for this for MVA. They just want to switch the chapters and pages around and have things out of order to fit the context of the episodes themselves. People are often complaining about the order but in my opinion this just reads like any en medias res story which, to those that don't know, is when you start the story in the middle and skip the beginning until later either in order to make the beginning move quicker or give an air of mystery for the omitted parts. In anime this often happens when backstory isn't revealed until the final fight. But how mha anime chose to do it was they chose to present an air of mystery to the situation with the metaliberation army and the LOV involvement in it, sparing the details for this arc. Which I can't tell if those complaining are doing so because it's bad or because it's different, because I read the manga before this and, ignoring the skipped parts, it made a tonal difference but not so much difference in the plot.

And spoilers are only off putting if they exist outside of the story itself, and a story cannot possibly spoil itself cuz it is by itself the story. I've decided to see this more like a crime drama when the endeavor arc started first where it gave to us clues of what will happen but never saying all the answers. I believe the issue here is that it's being interpreted too much as an adaptation and less of its own thing, which I think is a valid way of seeing it but also taints the enjoyment that you'll otherwise get if people stopped comparing the two mediums. Pacing are a valid argument to make here because I do think the Pacing is too drawn out at some parts and faster in others due to the change, but I do think people should give less comparative criticisms when it comes to adaptations and see first how things pan out by analyzing the series by itself rather than immediately creating negativities the moment something is changed or altered.

And they tell you who the big bad is at the beginning. Hawks had the mystery of him being a villain or not, the anime spoiled it by saying he's not actually a villain. Will the LOV destroy the liberation army? Nope, anime already told you that they take it over. Destros reveal? Nope will come after the anime showed that he's the leader. The anime spoiled what will happen in the next arc. Because it dosnet follow the original story. What crime drama is interesting when you already knows everything? So, AFO basically used Sith tactics and vader'd Shigaraki. Using the hands to direct his negative emotions to (in a sense) make him stronger, like Vader's suit kept him alive but in agony so he could channel the dark side better. Or that's what I got from that scene at least.
