My visit to Hambleden village

Really enjoyed watching. My ancestors the Astors owned Hever castle and cliveden house, chiltern hills. Also the village of Hambleden is beautiful, wasn’t the film the witches also made there starring Joan Fountaine 1966

Thanks Simon. I live in Covent Garden. I get so sick of crowds. I love our beautiful old villages. Your facts were very interesting. One film you left off your film locations was Dance with a Stranger. They filmed inside the Stag & Hunstman. Miranda Richardson & Rupert Everett. It was about Ruth Ellis murdering her lover David Blakely. I’m actually going to book a room at the Inn. I find the film haunting. Gripping! The fact it was a true story. Really adds to the atmosphere. Enjoy ‘rambling’.

Hi there, yes, indeed it was .... also parts of that film were shot in Turville, I have another video featuring that village.
