My VR settings for Assetto Corsa Competizione 2024 | BigScreen Beyond

I have spent the past few weeks tweaking my graphic settings for ACC now that I am using the Big Screen Beyond VR.
The settings in this video are what I am currently running, a compromise between the 'best' visuals I can get in the headset whilst playing - married to the need to maintain some resource headroom to capture the image to video.

Siuuuuu I just looked around the Reddit and people made it sound impossible to do, but this looks good. I know dump qn since you have a 4090 but what FPS do you get, just to gauge what my 4070ti super XD will get. Amazing video btw thanks for that.

Thanks for watching and commenting, both are appreciated. Not a dumb question at all. I get ~74fps at these settings. If I increase the pixel density to ~110%-115% it drops to ~34fps. Edit - I should add, I don't know if Kunos improved something or it's all because I increased RAM to 64GB and got the 4090, but when I had a 3080 and 32GB - it was virtually impossible to play ACC in VR without stutters.

*Я думаю разработчики положили ОГРОМНЫй БОЛТ на VR режим этой части,поэтому что,что бы ты не делал у тебя будет мыло,спасают только энтузиасты,которые пилят моды для первой части ассетто корса,там VR c в миллион раз лучше,если разрабы и в AC EVO обосрутся с VR-ом, я им больне ни копейки не занесу...*

VR really does need to be great in AC EVO. It has to be as good as AC with CSP, or better.

Thank you sir for this amazing guide I have BSB HMD, too with 3080ti. I haven't played my ACC, because I never managed the graphics to work decently (it was a mess really). But NOW after these NVIDIA settings I was able to take some hot lapping with it and I even had fun, enjoyed it really (although the image is not as good as in AMS2). I dropped to 75Hz and it is better now with ACC. I don't have similar in-game setting, 3080ti can't handle it. But now I'm wondering how much precision etc I will lose by not getting 90fps video to to my eyes...? I had Vive HMD for years and always raced 90fps.

Glad to hear you’re able to get back on track. Hopefully you don’t lose any precision at 75hz. Until I got the 4090, I was usually racing with as little as 45fps - so fingers crossed you don’t notice too much difference.
