Also eight months, everytime I wash my hair it’s pretty dirty THIS IS LOCKS don’t feel bad if your reading this and notice your hair seems extra dirty. It’s okay girl. Also I’ve noticed that we started locking around the same time and my locks seems so much more mature, do u think your consistent “protective styles” are impeding on your Loc maturing process? Or is it just different ppl, different process. I’ve also noticed that my hair grows a full 1-2 inches per month…this is with no protective styling. My edges have also grown back..( nobody asked and this comment is long af) lol

Hey hun I’m also about 8 months in, how did you get your edges to grow back? My edges are goooooone and it’s making me self conscious 😫

@@stargazermami5133 I don’t retwist often or tightly. Every three weeks to one month, I oil the front everyday using Pombatch fenugreek hair growth oil, (you can find them on ig) n I swear my hair grows like a weed. I also moisten my locks daily, in the shower I don’t cover them so the steam hits it, or I’ll take my bonnet off after I get out the shower so the damp air steams it. I don’t even sleep with a bonnet, I feel like this helps my softer hair sections lock faster. You should do all these things everyday any you will see an improvement.

I truly believe everyone’s hair is different and no one’s journey is the same. Protective styling or not.
