I like the ball valve trick to drain the tank! Happy plumbing!

That was really good. You’re obviously a plumber. I didn’t know you could drill into the tank like that.

Try out the propress dielectric unions, it'll help prevent galvanic corrosion. Nice work! The knipex pliers are the best👌

I though you can only transfer from copper to either pex or pvc after 18 inches for the pressure relief valve

I alwsys thought you vouldnt use any material rated for less than the t&p valve. 210° - 150psi, what does that leave ya?
@Pirateking23504 ай бұрын
@@bornfree1852 I think it depends where you live. In California you need 18 inches of copper before transitioning to pex or pvc
@bornfree18524 ай бұрын
@Pirateking2350 it depends on where you live to the minimum your required to do. Ive never met an inspector who stopped me from going above and beyond the minimum required. No matter what code says, it dont change the fact that neither cpvc sch 40 or pex are rated for 210° temp

What is that tool, like a crimper ? no soldering ?
@PlumbHero4 ай бұрын
Pro press, clamps down on the copper. The fittings have a o ring inside that make a water tight seal

@@PlumbHero I am sure those rubber O-rings will dry out and fail a lot sooner than a properly soldered connection may fail, if ever.

@@MaMa-qh4dyyeah they definitely will. I still love pro press but that’s the only downfall about it imo.
@rryuan3 ай бұрын
@@MaMa-qh4dyPretty sure pro-press warranties the fittings for for 50 years according to a quick Google search.

How come you used white pipe in some places? You're the man

I transitioned from copper to because it’s cheaper, and the rest of the house is pex.
