my last vlog in nagoya as i recently completed my teacher training and got my qualification! i have been extremely busy with travelling to korea after i got my tesol to get my visa for japan. and then i flew back and jumped straight into my job training and started teaching this week. i have been so freaking stressed and anxious since i got back because of trying to sort and get everything i need to (still haven't done all of it yet waaaah,, fingers crossed i can move into the apartment i want soon)
anyways yes, enjoy the mini update and the vlog. i am happy with how this one came out so that makes a change. i do have A LOT of videos from korea so hopefully i can find the free time and the motivation to edit that when i can. bear with me while i adjust and get settled ♡ thanku for the support
also semi clickbait video but ya girl gotta do what ya girl gotta do

your vlogs are so cozy, thank you for sharing them! also, i am really interested in stuff about how you found this kinda job if there's any way to share more without ofc being too detailed/open (don't want to ask too much of you!). i am an aspiring JET but i want to find other options in japan in case that falls through and hopefully something that lets me have more control over where i live. sorry to ask for a lot but just interested! hope your moving time is going well!

thank you!!! I found my job through a company I did my TESOL training with and i got to do my TESOL course in Japan and I lived in Nagoya while I was studying for it. They help do placements so they got me a few job interviews but the interviews were only for eikaiwa schools (private language schools) so I teach both kids and adults. But they can help get placements as an ALT in public schools too! It was quite an expensive way to get over here though and I had to travel to Korea to get my visa after the TESOL course so it was very hectic and pricey. JET seems to be a lot cheaper as they pay for flights and help with a lot of stuff post placement (but it is so competitive). If you want ALT work I know Altia is a company that hires people (I have heard some bad things about them though). Personally, I think it is easier to get a job working at an Eikaiwa (there is a lot of them throughout Japan) so you might want to look into that. Good luck
