The hair breakage may be from the hot air styling brush you’ve been using. I notice that was happening to my hair when I was using mine multiple times a week. My stylist said to make sure I was using it on low/ medium heat on hair that’s mostly dry & that helped.

I really hate the way they make apartments nowadays. In the old days, we actually had some windows in our spaces. Nowadays, the apartments look like bowling alleys, with one tiny window at the far end. I would buy an older apartment if it had windows, and fix it.

Girl, same. I’m turning 29 in February, and I’ve noticed random breakage and white hairs near my temples. I feel like covid really elevated my stress and sped up the aging process. My mom’s in her 60s and still doesn’t have fully white hair! I used to pluck my white hairs, but I realized it’s not worth it, so they’re here to stay. Luckily, my part hides them pretty well! The breakage might be from bleaching or stress. I was blonde too but stopped over a year ago, which helped with the breakage, just not the white hairs!
@SharonAshleySteedКүн бұрын
Your hair changes as you get older. The different between my 30-year-old hair and my hair at 40 is noticeable. I think this is why a lot of women stop bleaching as they get older bc it’s so much harder to keep the strands on your head.
@DrMichellePonder18 сағат бұрын
it’s definitely the thermal brush… in combo with the highlighted hair. maybe give your hair break from the heat and do regular k18 treatments/hair masks. also the dream coat is great when you are using it but I noticed that as soon as you stop the hair is so much more dry and brittle. I totally stopped using it for that reason.
@hanniaiommelli8096Күн бұрын
Hair breaking might be because of the heated round brush you now use for blowouts.
@lynnschonberg33717 сағат бұрын
Hair at the front of the head is usually the most delicate and damaged from heat styling and coloring. Blow dryer brushes that are hot and pull on damp hair that may have some tangles can cause breakage!

And really nice job with the vlog, keep up the great work!

It looks like your breakage is on the highlighted part of your hair. From personal experience, heat and highlights can cause breakage. Make sure your hair stylist does not overlap during the highlight process. Also the sleep mask may be breaking the pieces.
@ngoodfelКүн бұрын
Have you tried any of the head spas in your area? Maybe that would be a fun video. Also could try a hair mask. The air is so dry here you may need more moisture.

Back when I used to color my hair crazy shades I double bleached my roots in a short period of time and my hair started breaking right at the line where the hair took on color treatment twice. So maybe consider shifting to highlights or balayage instead of full coverage for a while and see if it changes. Also, you could consume more collagen and vitamins that specifically target hair growth and strength.

The suit must be wet to increase the electrical conductivity of the skin so the electric pulses actually reach the muscles. In medical applications they use specials gels for that, but that's a bit impractical and messy for this I'd guess. Many years ago I tried one of those super cheap electro workout band thingies that were all the rage for a while. They give such a weird sensation😅

You are so busy! How do you do it all 🤯 The hair issue is probably tension breakage from the hot brush when you’re doing your blowouts. Give it a break and it’ll most likely stop. Bleached / colored hair is so fragile.

Any changes to hair management? I did notice that as my diet changed to less milk regularly and was also slipping on daily multi-vitamin intake (closer to 1 / wk), my nails are less stiff and will chip more frequently if I jab something while wrenching. I stayed off the milk but went back to daily multi-vitamin and it mostly corrected the issue.

Hi it might be your heated brush. I had heard those were very damaging to hair, and you need to at least use a heat protectant before using it but that overall it's bad for your hair, way worse than a curling iron.

Shelby, you always have the best vlogs and showings! Congrats on your 3 Listings! Regarding your frontal hair breakage. It seems to be at the demarcation level? 🤔 "Where your highlights are" Call your Hairstylist and see if she can give you a deep conditioner or reconstructor treatment to strengthen your strands? It should be included in the price of your highlights! Not too tight of a ponytail; as well! Try air drying a couple of times; a week, if you can? 🏖
