Hi there, your video is helpful, I start in Sept 1st. Wow didn't know you can move that fast through classes..

That is awesome! What will you study? I'd say I have a huge advantage when it comes to moving through the classes quickly because of the school calendar leaving summers open for many teachers...although I do know that people finished the MBA program in one term, I believe working full-time. Crazy!

There we go! You just answered my previous question. I'd like to know when you're back in session/working full-time how much of a difference you see in progress vs. summertime. I'm trying to measure my expectations for my first term only because I do a traditional 40 hours work and have an ~ hour or so commute one-way to/from work. Thus the measured expectations idea. I'm hoping to surprise myself though.

Do you get a pass/fail on individual assignments, or do you get percentage grades on those assignments?

Andre Keyser Hi Andre! Ultimately, you get a pass/fail for each class. How the pass/fail is determined depends on the type of assignment. For performance tasks, your work is graded against a rubric with specific indicators that highlight what needs to be addressed in the assignment. They provide the rubric for you for each performance task so that you can double-check your work before submitting. For objective assessments, you do need to get a certain number of items on the test correct and meet a minimum percentage requirement in order to pass. Hope that helps!

How does the M.A.T. degree work if your undergraduate degree is not in the field you want to teach.? For instance if your B.S. is in business , but you want to teach Math.

bigg dogg I think that largely depends on the state you’re wanting to work in and the school you’re applying to + what the requirements are within those entities. It’s possible to teach without a masters even if your undergraduate degree has nothing to do with teaching. Find out by asking schools in the area you are wanting to work in!
