RVJ… You are the breath of fresh air this sport needs. I was so excited hearing you just earlier this year saying how much fun you were having in the sport again just taking fun matches, pulling these smaller promotions… It rejuvenated me in a way too as I’ve been working my way back from an injury for a year now. Seeing you having fun again after being disheartened with the sport was leading me to having fun again. I just encourage you to try to find that fun again that you were having not long ago. This sport needs you and people like you 💯 I’ll always be convinced of that.

We need people to put a light on shit in a real way and you're as effective and credible of a voice for this message as we're going to find. I have zero idea what metrics are used to measure the effectiveness, but I'm sure you can't quantify how many times one follower takes a nugget you dropped on them and shares with everyone they train with or hang with in the gym, etc.. I know I listed to Boston Sports talk radio, which is IMO the master-class of that genre and I never called in once in 35+- years of listening. BUT, I sat in my car after driving home from a long day on the road and sat in my driveway listening to segments where really impactful points were expressed, I couldn't stop listening it was so relevant. Just because I never called in didn't change the impact it had on me, and the echo of that impact. It changed my vocabulary, it dictated to me what books I had to read or author I had to consume, what movies and shows I explored. That's impact that can't be measured. Our society is massively flawed, it doesn't get better by calling it out necessarily, but it could get worse by silently looking the other way. Hears hoping you keep on calling it out.

For a person being real. Don’t ever question what you’re doing by assuming what other people think. Watch a lot of Rugby, those SA fricans are huge folk, many of them coming outta Holland, second tallest race on the planet mixed with their propensity for farming makes them large chaps, in Rugby, they try and bully the rest of the top nations with their size and strength. All that to say I would not be surprised if Boermann is legit, and if the SA fricans ever took to Armwrestling in greater numbers they would be a force to be reckoned with. That said, I agree, we gotta see more of this fella, and be cautious about the hype train around him, coming from certain parts.

I have to disagree buddy. Ironically Kaepernick did take a stand by taking a knee. Not saying I agree with the way he did it. But his overall message is pretty valid. America has a dark history when it comes to the treatment of its minorities and poor people. For a country that preaches freedom like there is no tomorrow a whole lot of people really got their panties in a bunch because of a guy using his freedom in a nonviolent way.
@TNM0016 ай бұрын

Critics typically complain and don’t offer solutions. Rob at least is always contributing with ideas and offering solutions for getting steroids out of the sport. Hell, he even takes action, like competing in a Natty league supermatch. On top of that he always listens to rebuttals and offers his perspective. I would consider that passionate more than critical.

Without you and the few others who don't cater to popularity and clout just for the sake of it...this baron and dry landscape is totally without reprieve. The parents and kids alone who need someone with cred to speak out about these topics is paramount. Most youth don't see anything that is right in front of their face anymore. I understand if you leave and only do a podcast every so often, but, lemme tell ya. Honestly I got away from watching aw content at all when you quit. It'd go like this: Id get in the mood to see something useful/informative/entertaining within reason,. I watch a vid or 2, feel like it was mostly all fluff, clickbait and pandering to whoever they wanted to get money/sponsors etc from(sponsors are cool, not if it makes you fake though). Id end up feelin basically nauseated mentally. I'd go a few days to a week and try again, same result...unless it was a video of someone like Yanis or Awsecrets giving honest advice. I was doing maybe 1-2 videos to test a week till you came back. Weird as fk but i get 'satiated' by your content. Sponsor/patreon worthy. even if its not for content, but to help you heal as a natty. If you ever start one, the ones that appreciate what you stand for would come. VERY SIMILAR to trying to get me to watch mainstream news or politics...Good luck unless its someone speaking truth and telling it like it is. Nothing to fill me up accept fluff and bs. My analogy is that most Aw channels are essentially fake for monetization and manipulation of the algorithm ONLY. More like junk food and I'm still hungry an hour later after eating all the sugar and refined carbs Whereas your channel has some 'fluff' for FUN, but, the main jist of it is about how to use your brain and do things well, while technically improving in physiology and mentality, keeping youth off the idea that drugs that effect them and the sport are required, and the stigma away from us so some real sponsors may come and the sport can grow. That's meat, potatoes, milk , bacon.. extra veggie and a roll or two. Full, satisfied, and spun in a direction to think about in a lil diff way than I had before.
