Jeeper here let me explain my though. So what happens after the engine is shut off in the P1 is that the fans fire on to cool the car down from the journey it has after a drive (longer than 5 minutes, or over 2000rpm) and so what happened is that for the fans to fire up, you need at least a little fuel, in this case manny was dangerously low on fuel, so the fans failed to spark up and what I believe happened was the fans tried to kick start with little fuel and some assist from the battery, causing some sort of small electrical fire when both are mixed together. That’s what I think happened. I will have to ask my supervisor on what happened with our specific P1 we had at our dealership in Charlotte, Texas.

It would take months of research before an agent could pursue the case as fraudulent. Plus he has videos showing it was steam and not smoke. Mclaren would always vouch that it was radiator hose, which it was.

alex Santillan it wasn’t smoking. It was releasing steam from a hot cooling system that had been shut off and not given a chance to cool off.
