I think, she answered that some time ago. She made a distinction between the capabilty of loving more than one person at the same time and actually being in a relationship with multiple partners. Also, most of their relationship has been during the pandemic and it's still not over yet. So, they might not be comfortable dating again.

i got snagged by the law once...long story short, i got called into to the pig pen, and this donut pulls out a blow torch, a kitchen knife, a ginormas survival knife (which was mine, and my mum recognized it cuz she had to come in with me, cuz i was a minor)...and then a pipe full of weed, which didn't belong to any of us. the piglet tired to make this arguement that he had a enough to charge us with. me being me, i got right up tight in his face and called b.s. told him that he was trying to frame us. he tried to haggle with me to reveal our dealer, at which point i called him every name in the book. (i wasn't snitching on my friend. not over a gram of hashish.) i told him that my friend's dads' were stinking rich, and that we'd collectively take his pork chop ass to court. it was all true. my mother was in total shock. she look at her 16yr old like i was a complete stranger. i knew damn well that that piggy wouldn't lay a finger on me in front of my mum, and i went straight for the throat. fyi jamie, i never squealtched on you.

I'm a transbian, but before that I thought I was a bi man (long story) and I got stood up by multiple gay men I tried to date. I think it was that I started trying to date men in my 30's and they thought I was some straight man who was fucking around, or maybe some sex-crazed bi male stereotype.
