Im an age regressor and this just gives us a bad name bc we aren’t a k!nk or anything, we just revert to a child mindset bc of (usually) trauma and it makes us feel safe. We do get confused with these creatures and we have to explain the difference between coping mechanisms and straight up p3doph!lia. We have “caregivers” which are NOT sexual, they’re more like someone keeping an eye on us and taking care of us when in that mindset. Especially in my case where I regress to a toddler mindset, I could probably light something on fire by accident. For people to then sexualize it is so disgusting and should absolutely be treated the same as child predators. Just bc they aren’t going after children doesn’t mean they don’t fantasize about it

@@HollyClementine i did have therapy, and I’ve seen people say that age regressing is actually recommended by some therapists bc it’s not harmful in any way, just a way to cope with feelings and calm down. It’s not romantic or s3xual, that’d be age play which in my opinion shouldn’t even be legal. I stopped therapy bc the US insurance and healthcare system is a huge joke and we couldn’t pay $75 per session when we were struggling with money already, so I was pulled out and I’m not sure when I’ll start again
