Thank you all for watching. Hannah's goal was to overcome her sugar addiction, but the other benefits she experienced were a complete bonus. 💚

Well done Hannah. I too had a terrible addiction to sugar. I live alone ... and I could eat a whole gateaux or tub of ice cream myself. The more sugar I ate ... the more I wanted. I would even wake in the morning thinking about sugary foods after taking sugary snacks to bed with me. I also started to crave alcohol again .... which I had previously given up. How did I overcome this addiction ? 1. I started by trying to encourage myself to ADD healthy foods to my diet - such as BIG salads. Often I couldn't even finish them - so I put the leftovers in the fridge .... and they became my next meal. Then I would batch cook vegetable curries etc. and freeze them. I was still eating sugary foods ... but far less. 2. I then added a lot of fresh fruit to my diet. This lasted about a month .... it really helped me eliminate the sugar from ice cream and deserts - which were my downfall. After a month I then cut down on the high sugar fruit - until it was a sensible amount. My desperate artificial sugar cravings then disappeared. Now I do not long for "something naughty" - even when I eat out. 3. Then I started adding more really healthy food ... and have left pots of nuts, flax seeds etc. around the place - for when I get hungry ..... which I rarely do now. 4. It really is the sugar that increases your appetite ... when you eat 'real food' your appetite diminishes ... and you stop thinking about food all the time. Then you lose weight, your skin improves, your angry outbursts vanish, and your sleep improves.... well it did for me ...and I have only been doing this for 3 months now.

Brilliant, your approach seems to have worked very well for you. Real food is the answer, If I could simplify my whole channel into one sentence, it would probably be - Eat real food. When insulin resistance starts reversing, the cravings really do go away, but you have to be patient and gradual in your approach, as you were. Well done, no more ice cream tubs and gateaux (I've been there). 💚

The way the information is presented in the video is very scientific and easy to understand. Thanks to that, I understand more clearly about the harmful effects of sugar on health and the benefits of giving up sugar. Very useful

I stopped eating sugar and carbs two years ago and have found the exact same things. Now I find 95% chocolate OK when before I found it too bitter. I have a protein and fibre diet and I feel great. Every day I eat whole foods, leafy greens and protein. And my bowel movements and regular and easy.

I don't eat sugar anymore either, & I have gave that up when I was growing up. I use to eat 3 candy bars a day😢. I learned that plant based foods aren't good for you. But fruits and vegetables are. Grains are wonderful too, because it is fiber for the body. Our body needs fiber, & protein everyday.. I really appreciate you sharing this video. I hope your wife keeps up not eating sugar..

Fantastic update!Yeah Hanna! 👏🏻 I would totally avoid the rice, if it were me though. Effects me the same as potatoes or white bread. Causes me to gain weight instantly. (Or stop losing.)

Rice can be a big problem for people, but it definitely helped her in the early months to keep off the refined sugar. 💚

It is truly amazing to me that to live a healthy lifestyle is a remarkable challenge and getting more and more difficult to live outside the inundation of bad products. And i believe it's not the products but what is added. May the force be with all who attempt to break away from Western "civilization" and its abusive and greedy oligarchs that run everything we are involved in on a daily basis.

Did she stopped carb too ? Wheat flour, bread , rice etc?
@RyanTaylorNaturalRemedies11 күн бұрын
No, Hannah likes her carbs occasionally. Her goal was more about overcoming her sugar addiction last year. She still had a fair bit of rice, occasional bread (not much), but mostly low carb meals in the week. I like to have cauliflower rice personally. 💚

I suggest this for a delicious smoothing: Half a cup of berries, three spoons of Greek yougurt, half a bannana, half an advocado, one and a half spoons of termeric, apple cider vinegar, half a spoon of black pepar and two spoons of cannela. EAVERY DAY

What about raw honey? Is that something I should cut out to see similar results? Ive gained weight and haven't been able to lose it for months.
@RyanTaylorNaturalRemedies2 күн бұрын
Yes, raw honey will most definitely slow down weight loss. It is high in fructose calories, which first must be burnt off by the liver, before body fat can be burnt. 💚
@mounique092 күн бұрын
@@RyanTaylorNaturalRemediesok, so I cut out eggs because for some reason it made me break out. When I stopped eating them my acne went away. I've been eating protein pancakes for the past year w/honey instead of syrup, what would you recommend to help support weight loss?

Get off eating anything with vegetable oil and you’ll do far better. Watch out for things cooked in them to Stay away from Canola, Safflower, Soy, Corn, Sunflower, grapeseed, cottonseed and rice bran oils. Fries and salad dressing are full of this stuff
@RyanTaylorNaturalRemedies11 күн бұрын
Fortunately we don't really do vegetable oils in our home, other than EVOO. Most of our food is home cooked, but the sugar was her addiction. 💚

But 'naughty sugary' foods no longer seem 'delicious' any more... it is the healthy stuff that seems 'delicious.' But I am now trying to cut down on cheese ... and that I do miss.
@RyanTaylorNaturalRemedies11 күн бұрын
When you remove sugar for a few months, those "delicious foods" seem less appealing, and you actually start to crave things like meat and vegetables. It takes a bit of time for brain chemistry to rebalance that's all. 💚
@RyanTaylorNaturalRemedies11 күн бұрын
Unprocessed whole cheese is highly nutritious, so I might suggest not removing that. 💚
