He should've called the police when Laura slapped him.

Sounds like these three people have a negative view on education.

Either that or hardships that made them hate education if not both

I started a channel but I don’t know what to do it about, I have such a wide variety of interests from shows about interesting things to anime. Any ideas on where should I begin with this problem?

This is ridiculous. Everyone always jumps to divorce. What about therapy? This could've easily been worked out in a few months. I know she hit him but if he's not mad enough to call the cops then they could've worked it out.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that the three friends of Laura were high school drops out and/or they have trust funds.

Even if you become a famous KZbinr, you still need good education to function in life. Education gives opportunities. A lot of knowledge goes into making videos and making a career out of it. You would need to learn about math and how to be good with money and budgets to use your money and profits wisely. Having good education can also provide insight and knowledge that can be helpful in your videos. Besides, education and fame on social media aren't mutually exclusive.

What about the slap? No cops? No divorce? What if he slapped her?

There are plenty of content creators that go to school or even have other jobs and/or side hustles. College is one thing since some employers focus on experience than education, but dropping out of high school is something else entirely. Sure sometimes education is way too expensive and the school systems are outdated, but being able to learn and grow is important. Even if Danny dropped out, he needed to learn KZbin seo, networking, social media marketing, digital marketing, video editing, spelling and grammar, math, etc. As for the question, I think it was a bit too extreme in this case. The restraining order should be for the ex wife's abuse, not expressing her opinion on what her son wants to do with his life. Plus, Danny could always go back and get his GED.

I'd vacate the restraining order and the custody decree of Danny to Mr. Trenton. The RO was granted on improper grounds, husband should go back and get a new one in the trial court based on the proper grounds, her assault of him, not her exercising her First Amendment rights to express her opinion of what her son can do with his life notwithstanding her husband. Same for the other family members, I'd vacate the RO and allow them full access to Danny. In fact I'd let the issue of who he wants to live with be his choice. He chooses his mother then that would be the end of it.

OP...You told him NO..His mother needs help. Does she know you can be arrested for basically letting him abandon his education? Call an attorney and the police.

It depends I grew up in Maryland. Danny was 16. At 16 you are no longer required to attend school. I don't know if that's for all states.

Op is doing too much talking... the minute she hit me... the marriage would have been over.... if a man can't hit a woman... why is it OK for a woman to raise her hand to a man.... screw everything else afterward... this story just flew by the fact that she hit him....but other stories would've been the centerpiece of it

This story has not been developed enough and because of that I have problems with it. I want to agree with the father, however the way he went about everything bothers me. The mother admitted she was not intending for things to go this far. Yet he divorces her! I think education is very important but so is following your inner path. So I shall say it once more: This story has not been developed enough and because of that I have problems with it.
