Your shawls are so utterly gorgeous that I was inspired to take my shawl projects out again as well - my Thaleia shawl by Sari Nordlund is nearing completion, I can’t wait🎉. It was wonderful to see you so happy and full of joy for your upcoming wedding. ❤ I also had a winter wedding and wore a self-knit alpaca shawlet to keep me cozy. How about you call your Jule vlog Vyule ? Please do not stress yourself with every single day - but it would be delightful to see glimpses of your winter days regularly.😊

Sionnach, Irish gaelic, shon nach. I love the fingerless mittens.❤ Goodness, you have been super busy. Knitting gifts for others, receiving these as presents is one of the most beautiful forms of Christmas magic. You are truly kind and gifted.

Dear Martina, such an absolutely lovely podcast! Love, love love the designs you showed from the book. I must wait a year or two… but it is saved on my list❤. I thought you were looking particularly lovely and radiant today, your hair simply gorgeous, a glow to your cheeks and eyes - and nearly spit out my tea laughing when you said you were wearing the little kerchief in your hair because your hair is dirty 😂. Only made it half way through, will save the rest for another day.😘

Congratulations Martina and Micke!! I am so happy and excited for you both of you! Thank you for your lovely words about my yarn! It means so much to me. About your vlog, what about, My Wild December (vlogmas) or My Wild Knitting December?

Hi Martina. It’s so nice to join you for another knitting podcast. Micke’s hat is STUNNING and is going to look so good on him. That color is just beautiful. Your wedding poncho is just fantastic! Once it’s blocked, the lace is going to just open up and add to the elegance. I look forward to your next podcast. Stay warm my friend. ❤❤❤

I had two or three ponchos as a child (in the north of England) which I loved, so it was so nice to discover that lovely pattern! I went straight over and bought it! I can't wait to get over this damned elbow tendonitis so I can cast it on 😣. ❤❤

Gorgeous poncho! And love all your other projects too. I'm thinking the Flea Sweater would be perfect for adventures in stash. I took myself off Insta but I maybe I can participate on Ravelry.

I love ponchos and have sewn several shawls together so that they’re ponchos. And I’m casting on another poncho now! I think they’re far more practical than shawls😊

Dear Martina, the colors that you are wearing in this podcast suit you so well, you look beautiful! So exciting for all your WIPs and would also look forward to your vlogmas too! Some inspiration for the name of that series could be: A december full of making (or creating). A wild december. The making diaries. This season (autumn from where I am, Haarlem in the Netherlands) is my favourite and my knitting mojo is sky high ha ha. While watching your podcast I'm knitting on the Trescao jumper. I am using beautiful yarns from A knitters world. I'm holding the fingering weight grey alpaca, silk and cashmere undyed together with the lace weight mohair silk in the color The stillness of purple. It is creating such a beautiful soft and elegant sweater

Martina, so so beautiful, I can't, how someone can be so beautiful:) I really agree with you, designers should to tell cm/inch, its dabble job for me, I always start to calculate "ouh, this number of rows, will be this much cm", its very annoying. I love color of Mikes hat, i can imagine it on him already, it's will be so beautiful! its amazing that you love all yarn, and knits, its so important, and don't make your words less important. That brings a joy of knitting! ah, all so fluffy and soft, beautiful knits. Loved this episode:)

If you don’t want to have to count rows, but want to follow the pattern, just take the row gauge expected and divide the number of rows you are told to knit by that number and you’ll know how many cm or inches to knit without having to count. :)
@wegrowild5 күн бұрын
Wow! You opened a world for me🤎!! Thank you🙏🏼

You can know the cm in 30 rows for example taking into account the gauge
