Robbie, another proof of great craftsmanship! After I did my first off center turning I am kind of addicted to this, honestly cutting all the air scares the sh** out of me, but all the adrenaline pays for it. I think doing off center turning increases your imagination as you have to ride the bevel on an imaginary surface before it actually hits the wood at the right angle to make a clean cut. thanks peter its hard to rub the bevel on something that is not steady even harder when the wood is difficult to turn whit twisted grain and its flying around the place scaring the be jaus of of you lol Greetings from Ireland have a great Christmas Robbie

hi iv been watching your vids and mikes for weeks now. last sunday i drove from scotland to leeds to buy a union jubilee. its phase three so im waiting on a converter coming from ebay. i cant wait to get turning i even got a load of spolted beech like the stuff you made that really nice vase from.i just watched one of your box vids where you made a hole when you parted it off and you gave me a idea for my first vid. instead of putting a wood plug in the hole on the bottom im going to grind 2 2 pence bits then glue the together. polish them and put them in the hole thanks for the vids derek
