Hi! So with knee pain you aren’t documenting any cardiac or lung assessment?

Correct! I only do what is relevant to the chief complaint. With the recent changes in the Evaluation and Management coding process, we no longer need to address a certain number of points in the Review of Systems or Physical Exam. The AMA has stated to do what is "medically necessary."
