Yesss to all those tips!! Mindfully closing the work journal at the end of a working day and tidying up your desk as if you were leaving an actual office for the day (meaning I take my cup and wash it before returning), helps me switch off too! Tea time for me is 3pm lol! But also setting reminders in my calendar every 25 minutes to take a 5 minute toilet break or standing break!

Great video. I have recently taken a work from home position after working in an office for the last ten years. I was having difficulty adjusting. This video gave me some great tips.

Thanks, great tips! My daughter is in high school and the tips around taking breaks are particularly welcome. To add to your list of tips, I would say do not put up with crappy WiFi, not only for your sanity but for your colleagues too. There’s nothing like watching someone’s frozen image or inaudible speech to make an already tedious Zoom call, even longer. I have just invested in a mesh router (TP link Deco M4) and the difference is night and day, bite the bullet and don’t waste your money on WiFi extenders. Another tip, is to use your telephone as a webcam if your laptop webcam isn’t up to it. Unless you have a very good laptop, the camera on your mobile will be infinitely more superior (my daughter uses an old iPhone 5), I use the free app Iriun. Keep up the good work! Your presentation style and the brevity of your videos are really a great combo.

Yes! A lot of buzz in the U.K. now about wifi being a basic for all especially with so many children currently relying on home education

Very helpful video thank you ! My top tip for those who would usually work in an office - see if your job is offering anything to cover the cost of office equipment. In England, health & safety regulations extend to if you're working from home for an extended period of time. If you're experiencing any pain/discomfort in working from home raise it with your manager and see if you can get some kind of assessment. What you're offered will obviously depend on the size of the company. I was fortunate and got a proper office chair and monitor sent to my home. Worth asking for sure !

Yes!! A lot of people won’t have just because they haven’t asked. Such great advice 👌🏾👩🏾💻

So true. I work for a relatively small charity and they are frequently reminding us to let them know if there is anything else we need to make WFH more comfortable/feasible so as small as we are if we are able to afford that I'm sure the larger companies also have this option! 🙏🏾

I love this video...Take a Dam Tea Break! We are in the same boat. The U.S. just can’t get it together🤣. I’m currently teaching my nephew from home. He has a schedule. It’s the only way we have survived. He says he’s not going back to school...HELP, please send HELP🤣💕🙌🏾. I love it. Stay safe. Sending love.

Thank You :) Perfect Timing !! That's literally been on my to-do list for the past few weeks to sort out my work space - working on my bed / on the hard dining room chairs doesn't quite cut it anymore, this pandemic isn't going anywhere anytime soon & I want my back to make it through to the overside...

An environment that I currently don’t have, lol. Almost every time I see someone with a smaller monitor I’m thinking that my job wants me to do so much work with 2 24in’. ‘How will you work from home’, 😅 your entertaining. Group tasking, yes, so many people don’t get it but I do this for my groceries= once a week.
