ngl the coolest thing about the game was seeing both players highroll to the extent where if either one did so in isolation the game would have been a 1 sided beatdown but it being on both sides kept the game super tight and engaging to watch.

as someone who played the deck for almost 3 years I want to point something out from my own perspective: -had pearl sister on turn + olyvia and especially lupina still in the deck, the play should have been putting the force marker on the unboosted pearl sister to give even big number (38k and 36k). at that point your raindear is just a drive check fodder. hitting for 2C for 4 times is bettter than securing the hit oon raindear attack in case opponent pull a defensive. because even if they hit defensive they still need to guard 2 crit swing from pealsister anyway. in this case, u hit lupina which i found really hurtful since u only standing 1 of the pearlsister giving less pressure to opponent. the aqua + yuika play is amazing, i know u had that in mind thats why u decide to swing raindear first. but in the case u want to swing raindear first anyway, putting force marker on her hurt alot. turn 4. opponent is at 5. u had pearl sisters. you know ur opponent could just potentially bearlock to guard. If you wouold have go for vanilla raindear turn, in no situation you should swing with vanguard first, especially when u have the pearl sisters on board. this play wasted a lot of other play. loura, tirua, gerlinde(in this case u dont play gerlinde so nvm about her). you yourself doesnt know what will u find from the top 10. if u had swing RG RG VG its alrdy game. in this case u pull the ange, with 3 normal unit on your side of board that can be bounce. your opponent realize this and make use of the bearlock efficiently to prevent ange from calling maybe tirua to close for game. you could see its alrdy game if u decide to swing with pearl sisters first instead of vanguard. even if they bearlock their entire field at that point. u also hit tirua u wouldn't waste ur pearl sister swing and being able to swing 2 times with the tirua. this can be shown that ur opponent decide to 1 to pass you last attack on ange showing if u hit that tirua they would not have survive because tirua would swing twice. either way thats from me. congrats on making 3rd on world still. not alot of people can do that. we are all human so we do make mistake from time to time. but because we made mistake that we learn from it to improve ourselves better.

oh btw on the first raindear turn since all 4 cats where out of the deck already (2 on board one in soul one in dmg) I feel like going into tirua and bouncing two Entarahna + Yuika would have been fine, idk if it would have mattered much tbh loved the video always nice to have play by play reasoning of top lvl gameplay

If Tirua bounces Yuika, you lose your ride-down and thus you auto-lose the game

So I'm confused about why riding down actually affects game state? I thought the changed the ruling for stride to where if you were on g3 the turn before you get to stride still?

stride need you to sit at grade 3 for a turn or your opp at grade 3. riding down avoid you sit at grade 3 so it deny your opp striding
