Day 2 on the Welsh adventure we head to Wern Ddu Quarry in Wales for an epic days riding (Husqvarna TE 300). This was my first time riding the Enduro Mecca, and boy did it live up to the hype. The hills a savagely big steep and gnarly, and I had some pretty heavy crashes and the worst crash I have ever had to date.
We are riding our two Husqvarna TE300i's and boy did they take a beating.
We came off the back of 150 miles of laning the day before and we were both shattered ready for Wern Ddu. It also didn't help that I had busted my thumb the day before so went it my biggest challenge to date with an injury. Luckily it didn't actually affect me that much although I still kept it as an excuse for everything that I messed up.
You will see that we dove straight into the deep end and I did not manage to nail some of the hills that I was desperate to leave victorious on.
If you are thinking of going to Wales and trying Wern Ddu I would highly recommend it. It has hill climbs, enduro obstacles, log hops, rocks, jumps and all the crazy stuff to put your skills to the test.
Strap in for some fails bails, crashes galore, as well as some fun off-road motorbike, welsh enduro.
