It ain't your sign it's your mind haha he's a damn genius! I'm reallyyy surprised there hasnt been more light shed on him considering his contributions to music..there's not even a "story of.." on KZbin. So bizarre!

@@JermaineJagger SO interesting -- maybe one reason is that he is still so active that no one can pin him down to tell his Neverending Story. But also, I suspect it is deeper than that in really interesting ways...because if you look at the politics of 'Disco Sucks' coinciding with Reagonomics etc...he was such a prophetic voice right before that.

But I will say him being alive is the best time to make a documentary about himmm so questlove or someone who's worked with him should DO IT 😭 show us everything before he's gone, give us all the tales, give him his flowers while he's here! @@JermaineJagger YES, I love these cinematic soul kids -- El Michels, Adrian Younge, Butterfly and Ali Shaheed back in effect. Jai Paul! I wish Barry White had lived longer! You got me looking up Roy Ayers' management...if we got the ball rolling we could get some grrrrrreat co-producers onboard I bet! That doc on Gil Scott Heron was amazing...
