I used to work as an investment advisor. The advice presented in the video is excellent and holds true for the average American. While it's a fact that money can't directly buy genuine happiness, it does provide the means to access experiences that can lead to happiness. However, for individuals with a substantial portfolio, say around $5 million, if you observe closely, you'll find that most people in their 70s are still quite active (I live in LA), but by the time they reach 80, their activity levels tend to decline. So, it's essential to enjoy life at some point before it's too late. That enjoyable vacation might well be the experience that brings comfort in your later years. It's important to distinguish between spending money wisely and squandering it. Be prudent in your value-conscious spending.

good job with these videos trying to avoid financial mistakes, Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios in the last 3rd half of 2023 with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?

The truth is that this is really not as difficult as many people presume it to be. It requires a certain level of diligence, no doubt, which is something ordinary investors lack, and so a financial advisor often comes in very handy. On building credit. Part of the game is that you can put your kids on as authorized users on your credit card. They will get a card in the mail but they never have to see it. They will get a separate credit score based on your score and when they are old enough, just remove them from the card. Gives them a good credit rating (assuming you have a good rating) and they don't have to do anything. At least that's how it worked in 2022.
@Totomuncher6 ай бұрын
Got to remember also when putting authorized users on your credit card NOT to use the card they are added to...if you do pay it off completely monthly or you will end up messing up their credit instead of helping.

I like the new style. First 10k idea sounds a lot like taking one piece of cake at a time (something a mentor taught me once). Disliked that you said in your 30s getting fat just happens is fake. I had kids in my mid 20s and at 35 idk where the time went and it’s harder and harder to work out and take care of yourself. Of course I am saying if I was kid free I’d be healthier and more successful. But I would think my situation is more the norm.

At a point like this, its best recommended you seek the services of an advisor, as this allows you make smarter investing decisions.

It's unfortunate most people don't have such information. I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $30k passively by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Doesn't matter if the economy is misbehaving; great wealth managers will always make returns.

I would recommend putting some of your money into a brokerage account and buying some stable ETFs with proven track records. Personally, I think VOO is a great ETF, as well as IVV, SCHD, and SPY. Most importantly, do your research. Read books about the stock market and speak to those with investment expertise. Rooting for you!

I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Brooke Grace Miller.

I like the less formal format (especially if it means more shirt buttons undone for the eye candy!) but most of the topics in this one were too basic for me. I’d like some more complex “life lessons” like how to select a financial advisor, how to evaluate your investment portfolio, how to estimate retirement expenses, estate planning for people without kids, how to decide whether long term care is necessary, best ways to prepare for early retirement, etc. I’d also love to hear more about what you’re doing to stay healthy and fit, because I think that should really be everyone’s number one priority. Keep up the good work. Your videos are great!

Personally I prefer it much more simply cause I work from home and like to have long form content playing about topics that I am interested in. This type of content is really good Graham. Less is more on KZbin. In my opinion, people are getting tired of too much organization and want more relaxed genuine content that feels more natural.
