Why Josh is my favorite flight reviewer. - He is fair. - Unlike others, his videos really reach beyond YT and may even lead to an internal review. Ultimately, some airlines need to change where it's not just "you picked a bad day" but it's systemic. One good thing about this year is that we the customers are perhaps not taken for granted anymore. - He is humble & customer service minded; this isn't about him. Oman Air was well and truly exposed during the video, irresponsible crew and scamming, that is a no no in the aviation market. Oman Air need to further train the cabin crew on speed and service, it’s the only way. We should all help to clean up the aviation industry of this corruption.

@@BB-vs8qs one thing I dislike about sam chui review videos is he always being positive all the time, yeah I know he is sponsored by the airlines but that's not right for a airlines reviewer, you have to talk about the positive and negative things about it, not the positive things about it all time it just mislead us that the airline have good service and good food it's not the right thing , I only watch sam chui content like delivery flights , retired flights and airport facilities not his review I wouldn't trust it at all.

@@sebastianarnold7670 being positive all the time does not help the airline improve, in fact it makes the airline more lazy. Sam has been positive, but maybe too positive don’t you think? And there is a guaranteed good review as the cabin crew usually sucks up to him as he is also a continuously growing youtuber with over a million or so subs. Meanwhile Josh has been true and is not afraid to expose airlines for bad flights and service.

@@BB-vs8qs You're totally spot on. I agree that these seemingly positive review by Sam does absolutely nothing to help airline improve. That's why Josh's reviews are absolutely valuable because he is genuine and that's what I appreciate about Josh's review. As for Sam Chui's videos, especially his airlines "reviews", I see it more for entertainment purposes and because I know his flights are sponsored by airlines or behind the scene it is scripted but then again I don't watch his airline reviews anymore.

Surprised to see Turkish make this list. The only thing I can think of is that flying in the earlier period of the pandemic wouldn't have helped as the virus was a bit of a bit of an unknown, so that would've definitely effected the staffs attitude and use of stricter rules. God forbid, if anything was to go wrong and someone was to contract the virus due to a lack of due diligence, it is the crew that's got their heads on the line, along with the reputation of their entire airline. However, it would be good to get an update on Turkish to see how things are now compared to then. Happy flying and looking forward to more content! :D

Thank you so much for keeping us all engaged in your travels, it was a great stress buster for all of us who are still in various stages of lockdown (in India). However I flew Oman Air in 2018 for Heathrow to New Delhi via Muscat, i have to admit that i booked that route simply because it was the cheapest at the time (short business trip to London at short notice) and I was quite pleased with their service and everything. Surprised to see it making the no.1 in the worst list and sad too, because I worked in Muscat at the beginning of my career, so have some fond memories of the place although never flew Oman Air till this time. I hope it was an aberration! Thank you again and a Happy New Year 2021!

My card got skimmed and somebody purchased Oman Air tickets. Luckily on the bank statement e-ticket numbers appeared and contacted Oman Air to cancel and refund my money. The response was late and very unprofessional and they refused to refund. It took me almost a year to get my money back through my bank by filling out and submitting so many forms and support documents including police report etc. Airlines in the region have very attractive on board products, but when it comes to customer service experience on the ground, their services are always quite negative.

Qatar Airways broke my bag last year. After so many phone calls and emails, I gave up. Most of Qatar Airways representatives are contractors so they offer very little help. It's amazing that an airline with such great in-flight service can be so horrible on the ground.

@@rob_in_banchang They offer a discounted business class upgrade, but differentiate between those who pay full fare from those who upgrade. Since the upgrade is more for the inflight experience, I don't mind that so much, but I do hope that they get enough complaints about their ground customer service to take steps towards improvement.

Perhaps the Ethiopians are used to living in dirty environments so are used to dirty airplanes, But in my 50 odd years of flying I've never been on a dirty airplane, not on internal flights within New Zealand nor on multiple international flights.

Thank you Josh for all of your 2020 travel videos. I agree 2020 was a challenging year for everyone. Travel is my passion and watching this video gave me some hope for 2021. I lost my job in 2019 and didn't travel this year due to the pandemic and the lost of income. I hope everything will get back to normal sometime in the near future. Josh, I'm a pretty easy-going and flexible person and am usually pretty forgiving when SNAFU's occur, but I agree with you 100% about airlines saying they provide a service or product then not deliver. That's out-and-out fraud!!!

I was flying from London to Geneva in 2000 on Easter holidays with British Airways. The check in staff was absolutely racist. They found out I was a Pakistani and then all hell broke loose, The preconceived slot they have for Pakistanis and how they should "LOOK" in their bigoted minds I did not meet that criterion, otherwise they would have treated me this way from the get go it was only when I produced my passport. My vacation was ruined , I felt so inferior that I was being treated this way just because of my nationality? I complained and till date have not received any answer from British Airways. PS: I can furnish the whole conversation between me and the British airways staff at the check in upon request.

You should’ve been in my 12-hour flight on Alitalia from Rome to Buenos Aires. It wasnt a DC-3 by luck I swear it was so old that thing. And service and food were terrible, of course there were no outlets and my seat didn’t move so yeah 😂

I agree with you on Turkish Airlines' part. I have flown with them during the pandemic for 13 hours and the flight was not really pleasant maybe due to covid things has been more limited down. Hopefully, after the pandemic things will get better perhaps you may fly with them again to see if there are any kind of improvements. Keep up with the good work !!! loving your videos.
