a few tips for the gas mask: • cut down the leather around the eyes a little • add a string running from the canister to the top of the mask • darken the leather (i've heard that wood stain works) it's pretty simple but it'll look a lot more authentic ^^ also i'd like to add that it's great to see you getting into WWI

According to the History, German army in World War 1 fought in trenches rifle, machine guns, bayonets, and trench clubs. When World War 2 begin in 1939, German upgrade the rifle, machine guns, bayonets, and more. Like as always “Historically Correct”.

@The history guy Some bajonets had saws. The allies thought that the saw was meant as a sort of harpoon, to harm the person more, so the allies sometimes punished the Germans with that bajonet more. They didn't know that the saw was really as a normal saw, and not really to harm more.

The gas mask canister repro straps that come with the can are completely farb, they’re like a ww2 style with hook and knobs you use to attach it to the can. Original straps were actually sewn on, with the The way you secure the can to yourself, was actually done by having a strap with a button hole to put it through one of the back tunic hooks that look like a button. But overall it’s a nice start and perfect for a reserve late war impression.
