When I started obsessing with books, I totally loved The Lux series! I was fourteen years old and don't know whether I'd have liked it now, but back then I read the whole series for like a week or two. I recommend it!

Mercedes Lackey is one of my favorite authors. Arrows of the Queen is the first in the Valdemar series. The Fairy Godmother is the first in the 500 kingdoms series. The Fire Rose is the first in the Elemental Masters series (the first few books really can be read in any order so The Gate of Sleep is also a good starting point and I do like it a bit better)

I love the trilogy series Inheritance( it’s really 4 books but started with 3) the first book is Eragon and if you like dragons it’s a really good book!

The Iron King series by Julie Kagawa. It’s amazing!!! I can’t say it enough! It’s got fey, lots of romance, politics, action. Amazing. And I would recommend the Red Queen series!

I think you may enjoy The Fever series by Karen Marie Moning. It’s a strong magic system and lots of twists, it’s about Fae but don’t let that deter you. The first five books are amazing.

I love a lot of the books you mentioned, so hopefully some of my recommendations work for you! Not sure if you've read the Winternight trilogy by Katherine Arden, but I *highly* recommend that series. It incorporates a lot of Russian history and folklore, and is one of my favorite fantasy trilogies of all time.

I really recommend Scavenge the Stars by Tara Sim, and also Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi. They’re both some of my favourite books, and they have great representation as well as really exciting plot lines.

It's meant for a younger audience, but I love Peter and the Starcatchers. I also love this book called East by Edith Pattou, it's a retelling of the Cupid and Psyche story, but has a lot of Nordic vibes to it. I can't do it justice with a description, but I definitely reccomend it! This is my first time watching any of your videos, and the only book I've read by Sarah J Mass was Throne of Glass (didn't really like it, the character was way too edgy and unrealistic for me) so I'm not really sure what your beef is with Fae, and I really love them, but I think I kind of get it? Books about them really aren't done well. I think Fae as a concept has so much potential in literature, but it's never really done right. I want to be an author someday, and I hope that I can really write something that can really capture their magic. :)

I would definitely recommend Shadowhunters by Cassandra Clare! I think they're aimed at a slightly younger audience but they are brilliant! The original series is called The Mortal Instruments and there are a few prequels and sequels and novellas. It's a fantasy/thriller and I absolutely love it!

Falling Kingdoms Series!! I read all 6 books in a week. The plot, the characters and EVERYTHING is so complex and awesome and wonderful!!!! Best epic fantasy series ever!!!!!
