I absolutely love the Fz/Mt and do a lot of work to them. Hope this information is beneficial If your wheel was bent it would shake at all times due to an imbalance. I’ve seen other similar comments but more than likely you have some sticky pistons in your calipers due to being very dirty, use, mileage and it stuck on the rotors a few times now causing the rotors to become warped as well. Personally I would take both calipers off. Remove the pistons and clean them, put them back on with new rotors and rebleed. Regrease the pins too. This is very important. A loose triple tree could also happen from coming down hard from wheelies eventually causing play in the bearings. The most accurate way to check is to lift the bike off the ground in the front by the frame and grab the forks toward the bottom and move them back and forth. If play is there you will for sure feel it.

Loosen brake disc bobbins, clean brake pistons, sand and cleanrotors and pads. Also check steering head bearings. Those bobbins should allow disc to move from side to side. They will get stuck easily. Take a nut and a bolt and put it through the bobbin and rotate while cleaning with water and break cleaner. Remove brake calipers and pads, push pistons out a little by pulling the brake lever. Be careful not to blow them completely out. Clean pistons with toothbrush and brake cleaner, dish soap or some general cleaning product. Pistons should move at same rate when pushing the lever. Pistons should also be easily moved when pushed manually. When you stop with the brakes on you might have water and shit left in one spot making the surface corrode unevenly. You might want to go through the rotors with fine wet sanding paper water & brake cleaner. Also clean the pads with same sanding paper, water & brake cleaner. Loose steering head bearings might exaggerate the problem. Clean, grease and adjust them. I have had these problems with every bike I have owned.

Dude! I just came across this video and liked it so much that I’ve subscribed to your channel. You may be wondering…”what was so special about this video?” I’ll tell you what was special…your authenticity. It’s the simple fact that we are able to see a glimpse of someone who has a similar interest (namely, motorcycles) and be themselves! No filter, all the farts, 100% liberating! Keep being you, my dude. I just started motovlogging and I’m loving every second of it. Also, I’ve been interested in the mt07 and looking to purchase one in the near future. Can you tell me a little about your experience with any issues, that may still plague this bike? Being that I’m thinking of picking up the 3rd generation model. Much appreciated!

California 6 per gallon. It's gone down a little. Telework so I only need to go to the office once a week on my fz6. 44 mpg average. Fill up once every few weeks. Only ride with 1 friend and a few family members. People dont pay attention or try to show off on large group rides. Its gonna take time for gas prices to lower. Need to keep in mind US oil prices are determined by global supply and demand and before russia invades ukraine they were exporting i think 8 million barrels a day. It's not easy to make up for this loss in global supply. No easy fix just gotta give it time. Eventually though gas prices, vehicle prices and overall inflation in general should go down quite a bit by sometime next year. It's a pain but just have to wait.

We have pretty much the same setup and everything and I have the same problem too that I've noticed the past few months or so. I just replaced my pads with EBC HH sintered ones and original rear rotor with a Bikemaster Contour rotor a few months ago and the rear is smooth as butter now, but I feel it is the front rotors especially at slower speed braking. Front rotors are quite pricey tho unfortunately. I may go with Bikemaster again if I find a good deal as the rear rotor is very nice quality. Good luck with your search tho and if I do get some I'll let you know how they work out! Safe riding!🤙

Glad to hear I’m not the only one… I’ll have to look into Bikemaster for rotors
@mad082sss2 жыл бұрын
Something to try to make sure it's the rotors (if it does it when you just roll the bike at walking speed) is to roll the bike along and see if it does it at the same spot in the rotor every time. You can put some tape on the wheel to make it easier to tell. If it does it at the same spot each rotation then it's most likely rotors (or maybe callipers). If it varies then it could be head bearings or maybe even fork bushes (unlikely)

gas here in Denmark is about 7.5 USD pr gallon atm .. .. anyways the front rotor problem . if its the rotors ofc .. sounds like it wasent seasoned enough .. like get to 50 mph .. slowly brake to 10 .. accell again do that a few times so they dont warp and they basicly get "Heat treated" .. question tho .. if it`s that bad, then why ride with it ? your life is way more important then money .. so "get er done" :D

just change it to after market floating rotors, its kinda common for yamaha motorcycle to have a warped rotos, thats because of low quality steel used in rotors which dissipate heat much longer.

We just had another massive increase down here in South Africa. If my calculations are correct, we are now currently paying $5.97 per US gallon! It's insane! It's $1.58 per liter at today exchange rate (R16.96 $1.00).... So sounds like your rotors are warped! You doing some heavy braking there or you think it could be the pads running too hot? I use the SBS 634HS FR on my front and have now almost done 25000 kms (15500 miles) on them and they still going! Don't ask me how or why, but it is what it is... 😂🤣 I have the replacements sitting in my workshop for when I need them, so good to go. I guess I have learned to brake with front and back equally... No idea. Mate, how can I get hold of you, I may have something I want to send across to you for your bike... Or at least try and send to you.... 🤣🤣🤣👌

Thanks for the insight and always coming back for the vids bro. It truly does mean the world to me. I'd love to come to South Africa one day and go for a ride. Hmm, i have aftermarket pads in front and rear. They definitely have more bite to them compared to stock. Could totally cause more heat in the rotors. I have had to learn to use more rear brake than I usually do which is not ideal but works for now. Best way to contact me is email: shindler.blake@comcast.net
