What on earth is that old man at 1:07 and elsewhere saying? I've been using that phrase quiet a bit lately but I have no idea what it means.

'comé de ta', it's a phrase adapted from the French which is a combination of 'commie' (as in Communist) and 'de ta' (as in crudités, pronounced 'crew de ta') so it means bite-sized vegetable dishes in communist countries, which are of course quite scant and not entirely healthy, so the old man is making an ironic remark (which is ironic, considering that the Japanese tend not to appreciate irony) in the fashion of reverse-psychology to promote the product. Make sense?
