Indexing is showing up in the top 300 results. Ranking is your position and hopefully in the top 20!

Oh! So that's how it works in Amazon. Thank you for explaining that. I was thinking if creative looking and well labeled images could also promote a product's popularity since some buyers also prefer visuals.

Should we have different keywords in search terms for each variation, or does it keep it the same as the parent search term text?

Hello Steve, does Amazon index keywords in A+ content?
@MyAmazonGuy Жыл бұрын
Amazon A+ Content is primarily designed to enhance the visual appeal of your product listings and to provide additional product and brand information, which can help to increase conversion rates. However, it's important to note that as per Amazon's official statements, keywords in A+ content are not indexed for search purposes. That said, A+ Content is still highly valuable for providing detailed product information, explaining product benefits, and telling your brand story. This can all contribute to a better customer understanding of your product and, in turn, can lead to higher sales conversion rates. It's always a good practice to place the most important keywords in the product title, bullet points, and product description, as these are the areas Amazon indexes for search.

Regarding the ranking phase, how to determine and prove the positive impact of multiplying iterations because I would like to understand and checked by myself afterwards maybe one day amazon could change this and it would be important to be able to detect it Thanks again !

When it comes to indexing, some of my listings show Active in the backend but they are not searchable. Browse node (category) is proper. Any idea what could be wrong?
@MyAmazonGuy Жыл бұрын
If your listings show as "Active" in the backend but are not searchable, there could be a few reasons for this issue. Here are a few possibilities to consider: Recent Updates: It may take some time for changes or updates to be reflected in Amazon's search indexing. If you recently made changes to your listings, give it some time for the updates to take effect. Keyword Relevance: Ensure that your listings include relevant and optimized keywords in the product title, bullet points, description, and backend search terms. Make sure the keywords are directly related to your product and have a good search volume. Content Quality and Compliance: Check if your listings comply with Amazon's guidelines and policies. Ensure that your content is accurate, descriptive, and does not contain prohibited or misleading information. Non-compliant listings may be suppressed or not searchable. Competitor Competition: Consider that competitive factors can affect search visibility. If there are many other sellers offering similar products in the same category, it may impact your search visibility. Optimize your listings to stand out from competitors. Indexing Issues: In rare cases, there may be technical issues affecting the indexing of your listings. Contact Amazon Seller Support to inquire about any potential indexing issues or glitches that could be affecting your specific listings.

Hi Steven, How come when I see my rank in helium 10 Cerebro, and then click to Amazon for that keyword, often times I’m nowhere near the organic rank they claim in cerebro.

I am having a debate with a client. They are using their primary keyword 9 times in their title. I have told them that Amazon only indexes and ranks the keyword once in a title. Everything I have ever read & personally tested says this is true. They disagree. I know advertising is different & I will be using that keyword in multiple campaigns. Please back me up on this.

Why is it important to index for as many keywords as possible? Wouldn't it be better to just focus on and try to rank highly in the very relevant keywords?
@MyAmazonGuy Жыл бұрын
Hi! Indexing for as many keywords as possible isn't always the best strategy. The most important factor in keyword strategy is relevancy, not quantity. If your website or product is indexed for a large number of irrelevant keywords, it could actually hurt your visibility and ranking on search engines, and may even lead to penalties from search engines like Google. Moreover, indexing for a large number of keywords can also dilute the focus of your content, making it harder to rank highly for the keywords that are most relevant to your product or service. Instead, a more targeted approach is generally more effective. This would involve focusing on a smaller number of keywords that are highly relevant to your product or service, and that your target audience is likely to use when searching. This isn't to say that you should only focus on one or two keywords, though. It's still important to have a range of keywords, including both head keywords (more generic, high competition keywords) and long-tail keywords (more specific, lower competition keywords). This can help you reach a larger audience, while still maintaining a strong focus on relevance. In summary, while it's important to index for a variety of keywords, the focus should always be on relevance and quality, not just quantity. It's more effective to rank highly for a few highly relevant keywords than to rank poorly for a large number of irrelevant ones.

@@MyAmazonGuy Gotcha, thanks for the reply. This makes sense. I was only confused because in the video at 1:35 you said the goal is to index for as many keywords as possible.
