Love that! Romania itself is surprisingly diverse for its location in Europe, bucharest was the only place in the east I met so many different people from different cultures, from Africans to thai and Vietnamese people, etc. Obviously most people were white but still, it's more diverse than most American cities in my experience aside from Chicago NYC, and New Orleans.

Very cool! Discovered your channel a couple weeks ago and now your playlists are my favorites to listen while working. I hope you will continue to explore also other corners of Europe, such as the Baltic States, I think we also had some fine music in the Soviet times. If I may I suggest to check out Zodiaks (Zodiac) from Latvia and composer Sven Grunberg from Estonia - although they are more electronic music from the 1980s. Imants Kalnins and Raimonds Pauls are popular pop music composers from Latvia who worked all through Soviet times from the 1950s - 1960s, also female singers such as Ilona Balina, Nora Bumbiere, Mirdza Zivere were great.
