Been to Lotte a few times before as well. Though mainly changed to Melia nowadays. But no illusion, I'd say most or all of the 5-star hotels in YGN are in some way linked to the military, so Lotte is not a big exception there. - Yes, also at Melia the exchange rate is pretty low, and it's also to discourage guest to exchange money in the hotels, they can't keep foreign currency themselves, and they get it reimbursed only at official govt rates, so if they gave you a better rate, they'd make a loss.

You should go to Bagan.If you go there, you won't be disappointed. Watching the sunset while having a drink is pretty cool. Ride the e-bike and go around the city.

Luke, If you want to get a ticket to the north, don't look at flight booking websites. I tried but they usually aren't there. You should contact the airlines or their websites because that's the best chance. From what I know, there's a few (3-4) regional routes to the north.

If not, he definitely should be careful because even though he's not saying anything terrible imo, any comment can be misinterpreted or blown out of proportion. Also, the whole "journalism" element to recording videos is dangerous in itself. Many KZbinrs post a video weeks or months after filming it; I hope Luke is the same, if not it's very risky.
