Myanmar Violence: Turkey's first lady delivers aid to refugees

Turkey's foreign minister and First Lady have visited a Rohingya refugee camp in Bangladesh. Mevlut Cavusoglu and Emine Erdogan were launching an aid programme for 50 thousand refugees living inside the kutupalong camp in the south of the country. More than 150,000 Rohingya have entered Bangladesh since violence broke out on August 25th in Myanmar's Rakhine province, and aid agencies say resources are becoming scarce. TRT World's Shamim Chowdhury sent this report from inside the camp.

There is a reason why Turkey is the number one country in Muslim majority countries in scientific research. Turkey power is not due to it's oil reserves like other Muslim continues but human resource who have secular scientific outlook. Other Muslim country and even non Muslim country looked at Turkey and Ataturk as an example and Inspiration. Nehru, Indian first Prime Minister want to make a country based on the similar principle led by Ataturk and he was inspired by him. Science which is based on 'No absolute Truth', Scepticism, Questioning everything and experimental and observational proof. This need a open minded secular society to prosper, you can see all top countries in scientific research and none of them are theological country.

He wanted Turkey to be modern not like current Afghanistan or Syria under ISIS rule. You can say liberal and reformist Muslim are not Muslims at all from a fundamentalist point of view. But it is up to you if you want Turkey to become like Afghanistan under Taliban or a developed country with farm ground in Science and Technology.

kalsang boztemir Turkey can't afford it,gremlin.The logistics would be too costly,Turkey had taken too many Syrian refugees and is now near the heart of the middle eastern crisis and it would be too dangerous to receive them.Sending them to Bangladesh and paying for the cost instead is a more safer,time saving,effective and provide more substantial aid than sending them to Turkey which could worsen the refugee crisis.

Those people are not indigenous people of Myanmar. They speak one of the dialects spoken inside Bangladesh. Those people could have been considered for citizenship unless they committed Mujahidin rebellion (Jihad Movement) in 1948 in Rakhine State. After suffering the defeat, they renamed themselves as Rohingyas in 1974 hoping that they were to be accepted as an ethnic group in Burma (Myanmar). The name Rohingya didn't exist in the Myanmar and British Empire history books till 1948. (Do fact checks). Which nations on earth nowadays would accept jihadists as their citizens? Yes, those peoples are all Muslims. But I don't think they are all bad. Because of bad jihadists' reckless actions, it's very sad to see innocent peoples killed on both sides.
