Why is the use of AAA’s annoying? What if you like it and in ten years you comeback to find a dead battery or worst an expanded battery that could destroy the unit? As someone who’s worked in the battery industry for over ten years I’m telling everyone outside of a few devices we need to stop having everything rechargeable. This is especially more true if you care about game preservation.

3 AAAs or AAs are annoying because batteries come in packs of 4, which leaves you with one extra that isn't too useful on its own, but I'll still take that over a lithium based battery any day.
