Thank you for this video! But I am curious, which camera gives you better results: the DSLR or the SVBONY SC001 wifi camera? What camera was used to take the last few minutes of video footage, starting at 8:00?

That was with the sc001 wifi cam which I prefer due to simplicity in good conditions as there are no adjustments for the wifi cam. The DSLR works but can take a lot of fidgeting, but it's only like 30 bucks.

Do you think the detail of the object will be higher with this setup, or when using a regular telephoto lens of 300mm or 500mm?

Using a regular telephoto lens is best by far, this is an affordable alternative but not going to get the best results unless your setup on a tripod in a fixed location.

Would this be possible with a Sony A37? It is a SLT camera. Fixed transluscent mirror.

How much was the camera?
@MyBackyardBirding2 жыл бұрын
The R6 is around $2400 the new EOS rebels with lens kits can be had in the 600-800 dollar range and there are also much cheaper mirrorless canon cameras that accept R-lens. Since this adapter is only like sub$30 I look at it as an experiment.
